SC_Slayerage - Reddit Post on state of Destiny 2
My friend texted me a link to this post. This summarizes exactly how I feel on the current state of the game. It was very well communicated and think Bungie should take a look at this.

**Obligatory we're trending update! - Truly hope Bungie will at least read the link as it is nothing but constructive criticism from a very good Destiny player. Hopefully they will see the countless threads of the community complaining about lack of content, state of the Crucible and end game. We all want the same thing, to enjoy the game, to "Become Legend" and not become bored.

This is the way I'm feeling. If it wasn't for the banter between friends I would have little desire to log in. There's nothing to grind for, this game could have been awesome but for some reason after the initial play through it feels soul crushing average. It went from yeah to meh way too fast.

Everyone should up vote his, while I don’t agree with everything he said, it was a very good summary of what’s wrong with this game... it’s lacking flare / fun. The balance has no point, this is not halo, it’s not overwatch, If they intend to make it so, they need to tell us so we understand why they gutted the fun

I remember being negative, and seeing white knights quoting with the sarcastic "oh so you've played the game" bullshit. Thing is, i wasn't blind like most Destiny players are. its the same shitty dev and the same shitty publisher. If you were expecting major improvements, YOU'RE PLAYING THE WRONG GAME, BUD. Some simply do not learn from their past mistakes. Enjoy your mess while normal people play games that offer more content than Candy Crush.

Very impressed with Slayerage's feedback there. He didn't come off as winy or critical, but he carefully thought out what is not working in D2, Why it's not Working and gave very good solutions.

I have not once in my years of experience with Destiny had such a strong feeling that I had wasted my time.” Summed up Destiny 2 really well, and, explains the reason all I do are Public Events! Game is as exciting as drinking unsweetened hot lemonade! Nice jug, fresh frost dripping down the sides, taste buds ready for that sweet/tangy/ice cold drink, then, hot sugar-free lime juice! I can see that lemonade stand getting a lot of business, once!

Otherwise you might be that so called &$#@& hyping negative & fake news on D2. Destiny 2 is fine, Bungie is working hard to bring us a game we can all enjoy! Not easy to please everyone!

Initially I liked the idea of fixed guns. I thought it would allow us to find the guns we really wanted and pursue them exclusively. Man, was I wrong. That's what I get for giving bungie BotD. As was stated, if you're going to have fixed rolls on guns you have to actually make the guns worth using. Not a bunch of garbage with grave robber and pulse monitor.
