I'm sorry that happened and I hope Bungie sees this and provides some relief. But I said it when it was introduced. This is a flawed concept. It's half measures, and it assumes that more than half the playerbase of this game is too stupid or too bad a player and thus need to be carried in the first place. This is not the case. Most of these players just want to matchmake. Couple this with insane wait times and goofy penalties for sherpa's who have done nothing wrong and were simply disconnected due to poor technical support, lack of an incentive in the form of proper rewards for these guides, clans wanting to make good use of their playtime and sessions, and what you have is a complete failure of an in game system.
Put an in game lfg into Destiny 2 or don't. I don't get the overthinking on this, and I don't understand why it's so complicated to reach a logical decision one way or the other.
