I had the same thing yesterday me and 4 of my clamates were running a raid we needed a 6th so we thought we would give guided games a go it was a waste of time the random we had was great but we were all kicked after finishing gauntlet we got the chest and were preparing to open the door for the next encounter when we lagged out
We went back in and had to do the whole thing again from the start i can speak for my team when i say FÙCK GUIDED GAMES, never again

I was under the impression that once you finished an encounter you got a checkpoint where you could open the door for the next encounter when you load back in.

So was i we thought coz we used guided games bit im not not sure when we went back in we had to start over only we had no rewards from gauntlet

I'm hoping it's because of your disconnect, because my clan just did a GG raid last night and everyone had to get off after gauntlet. Gonna be pretty upset if we need to do it again.
