Seriously Bungie? Who's brilliant idea was it to put Xur in the director as a trackable point? I was hoping for a hunt! I wanted to scour each planet for him. I wanted to be so excited when I finally found him. Even if it meant he had less than stellar offerings.
You ruined it Bungie. You ruined one of the last hopes I had for this game. You took away all mystery and made everything so obvious, a two-year-old could figure it out. I get it. You want more sales. You want to cater to a larger audience. Of course, your only goal, in the end, is money. I was a fool to forget that.
I am a Day 1 Destiny player. I absolutely loved the first game, even through its faults. I have always stood by the game. I wanted it to be the same with D2. However, I understand now. I, as a loyal fan, part of the core, am no longer needed.
You have gone in a new direction with the series. Destiny 2 is not intended for me, so I will let you have the $100 I spent on it and step aside and let you recruit newer, younger guardians. I wish this series well, but I simply cannot support it any longer.
Goodbye Destiny.

10 RepliesWell, they COULD have done this: - Xûr arrives, no word from Bungie. - Not found within the hour? They tell us which planet he's on. - Not found in another hour? They tell us the zone. - Still not found after another hour? Tracker appears on the map. That way people can still look for him but his location will also be guaranteed to appear.
