Trials is the worst state of Crucible I've ever seen in Destiny.
As a 3 year absolute devoted Destiny fan I am very sad at the apparent "vision" bungie has for crucible. Playing my first trials of the nine and this sh*t is just awful. 8 mida tools shooting across the map or a pack of guys running around team shooting, this is just not fun. I don't see longevity in this. Crucible has become less and less fun IMO. Thoughts?

Hunter main? That's your problem stop bitching if you hate a team game mode don't play ffs it's not Destiny 1. So far with my strategies I won 33 and lost 1 with a 3kd and 4kda.

10 RepliesWhen I saw that they brought Mida back, I was honestly disappointed. There were many periods in D1, especially come Iron Banner week, that were essentially just a Mida fest. Why would they bring such an over used and over abused (as in, better than any other choice) weapon back. And the fact that they only brought, what, 2 exotic weapons from D1 back, to think they chose Mida and the incredibly underwhelming hard light is sad.

1 ReplyBest thing to do is not to play it. Same goes for those who dont like the raid. Bungie has said a few times for us to speak with our time and play. Their numbers are precious to them. Only way the game will change is if enough people quit playing what they dont like.

So you'd rather stick everyone with a grenade, tbag them and then shoot their dead body with your wormwood? Year 3 trials was cancer man. Omg. Is mida over used right now? Yeah but consider the map and it's a gun everyone is very familiar with.

Yeah I could go to 9 wins every week (only flawless once) in D1 cause you could make plays solo, like I could take any 1v1 at mid range with last word, but now every fight is a 2v1 or more. Not to mention elimination should be the only trials gamemode

I like the way this one is set up, opening and whatnot. Still against the trials carrying for money though. If you're in a certain tier of skill you should be paired with players like yourself.

PvP is just boring and campy, feels more like any other generic shooter, I got my one win for the achievement and that was enough for me. Doing the weekly crucible bounty is enough of pvp for me.

12 RepliesNot sure I understand what difference it makes in either game. So you're saying that 3 guys with MIDAs couldn't go into Trials in D1 and dominate, but now 4 guys with MIDAs in D2 are unbeatable?

Thats some great bungie matchmaking... I played 80% of my hours in D1 PvP...and I played A LOT!! Guess I will be moving to a 80% PvE player for D2. They ruined PvP...no gun skills what so ever anymore...dumb, just dumb

1 ReplyI hate quickplay 4v4 PvE. But Trials in D2 is actually quite fun. I like that it's only 7 wins for flawless, and whether you go flawless or not, you still get great gear. I agree the MIDA is essentially a cheat code, and it needs to be nerfed. If your team isn't running 4 MIDA's, you'll probably lose. I also actually enjoy the Trials map as well. But on a serious note, Bungie bring back 6v6 for quickplay for god's sake. 4v4 quickplay blows.

2 RepliesAgreed. Crucible is horrible now. 4v4 only and you don't even get to choose what mode you want to play. MM is longer. Run in a 4 pack or get slaughtered. Haven't seen a game end before the timer either. It's way broken.
