Why is Xur selling two items that are acquired through the main story?
As the title says, the raiden flux and wings of sacred dawn are both story rewards so why on earth would bungie put them in his inventory? It would be far cheaper just to infuse the old ones as theyre only 270 and 265 blues drop frequently... Im not 100% disappointed as I havent had merciless yet but I dont get Bungies logic. Its like they enjoy pissing in the faces of their players
Edit: Titan gauntlets are also a campaign reward

I bought all three armor pieces to work on completing my armor collection. I haven't started on my hunter or Titan so I can now pick another piece of armor that is welfared to me for progressing in the story

Can't 100% remember but weren't they a multiple choice rewards ? So u may not have picked them and now u have a chance to get them ?

I bought the Titan gloves on Friday, got my Titan to 20 later that day then discovered there's no way I'm ever wearing them because they're so freaking hideous.

I only had Merciless, as a Hunter I chose Lucky Pants. Got all the exotic armor even though I haven't started my Titan and my Warlock is level 2.

14 RepliesAlright, darlings. If you are complaining about Xur you must be new to destiny and not know what he is like from D1. He isn't meant for end game light levels, if you are below 270 then you get a boost, if you are higher than that you don't need the boost from him. His items are random, which means there is 9 exotic armours gained from the campaign so it's not hard for him to sell them at random.

I don't think it's really that big a deal. I'm not going to use them but it gave me a chance to get the warlock chest and titan gauntlets for collection purposes. At least they were only 20 something shards. That's super cheap for the first visit. Everyone can afford all 4 items

4 RepliesHave you played through all 3 classes? No? Then grab the exotics for the classes you haven't and you get a 270 light chest piece boost as soon as you hit level 20.
