I posted this as a response in a thread, But I think it deserves its own spotlight. took me an hour to retrofit that entire damn poem. Enjoy . . . Twas the night before D2 and all were in a fit the forum trolls were bickering and talking up shit The preloads were hung at 99 percent making players rush to the forums to vent . The players were skipping rest in their beds while visions of teabagging dance in their heads and I fueled by rockstars and crappy poop tarts fought off my churning stomach, holding back sharts . When out on the forum there rose up dumb crap that made me facepalm with a resounding slap Away to the window I flew like a flash to smoke a cigarette completely to ash . I returned to the forum like a breath of fresh ass and tried to stay above the trolling and let it all pass When, what to my wondering eyes should appear another post about beta, that generated fear . The posts were flying so lively and quick that reading them all was driving me sick More rapid than eagles the salty comments came and laid the beta on Bungie's shoulders with blame . now -blam!- it, now shut it, now shove it up your butt on and on we all argue as one collective nut to the top of the treading threads, never to fall I threw up my hands and said -blam!- it all! . As wet farts in the shower, more posts did fly beer was not obstacle for posting, nor being high the moderators got alerts and to the forum they flew and ended up arguing and weighing in too . And then in a twinkling, I heard from youtube another rank and file tuber, crying boo hoo my hands flew to my head as it started to pound but then Luke smith posted answers around . He was dress’d in a hoodie with destiny swag and looked like he crawled out of a punching bag A bundle of tweets he answers back to back and paused to give Ikora a backhanded smack . His eyes - how they twinkled with clever response and answered each question in candor and taunts His twenty minute talk hyped and bolstered the game fanboys rejoiced, while the trolls said it was lame . I pushed down another rockstar through my teeth and wondered if my heart could cry out in greif the score of poptarts went to war with my belly and made me throw it all up like a pool of chunk jelly . yet none of that mattered, my preload complete I sighed in relief and washed puke off my feet when the game unlocked I will be ahead until I hit the launch day patch I know I will dread . I made sure to fake a sickness and called off my work then flamed an another clan post, made by some jerk I felt real salty and bitter, I was pumped with caffeine so linked him to recruiting and said something real mean . as I look back to the forum on the Bungie website it didn't matter if I was wrong, or if I was right I will play the game anyways, I gave Bungie my bucks and say to you all "shut the hell up! I give zero -blam!-s!"
