Bungie, give us an answer about veteran rewards on PC!!

Somehow PS4 players got The Inner Chamber emblem in D1 for playing Bungie (Halo) games on Xbox but PC players can't have nice things? I've been in the community for 13 years and I just want an answer from Bungie. On behalf of all your fans jumping on the PC adventure. Like the post so we finally get a tangible answer!! EDIT#2/// Im surprised so much people go out of their way to being toxic and not being active in the discussions, downvoting won't get you far as well. I'm not here to act like a so called MR, I respect everyone in the community, all I'm asking is for an answer and I can guarantee you there's plenty of others like me. So I invite people to talk and be civil. EDIT/// reCLUsive7 explains it better than I do.
I believe the OP is saying that it would be nice to see PC players who played D1 on either PS or XB to be treated in the same manner as those staying on console. The OP used the example that Bungie.net users who've been around and played Bungie games since Halo games were still being developed by Bungie, which were only available on Xbox, PC, and Xbox 360 prior to Destiny 1, and yet emblems were rewarded based on our Bungie.net accounts not on what platform we played, even to PlayStation gamers. This topic has been argued about and brought up to Bungie many times, and their answers are lacking in substance as to why PC players who supported Destiny 1 on console are being undervalued in their experience compared to those staying on console. The fact that Destiny 1 had emblem rewards that were based on our Bungie accounts and not our Live accounts proves this is possible. Why store stats and info on Bungie.net at all if our account status and data cant be used to give those of us moving to PC our veteran rewards?

Moderator edit: This thread has been moved to the #Help forum where you can find answers and troubleshoot any Destiny in-game/bungie.net/companion app issues, courtesy of other helpful players and Mentors. Feel free to private message the moderator who moved your post, link to topic, for further clarification about why this topic was moved.
The answer you're looking for can be found in the article below. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/45967
⋙Can players access their Destiny 2 Emblems for Destiny accomplishments on a different console platform or on the PC platform?Added 6/22/17 No. The Destiny 2 Memorialization Emblems are tied to a player's PSN ID or Xbox Gamertag and cannot be accessed on other platforms.
• It also makes no sense that players that switched consoles get screwed, as well. I always use Uplay as an example. If Ubisoft, who fails at most everything else, can track points earned from multiple games and platforms, then Bungie has ZERO excuses.

      • It's a tad bogus that players transitioning to PC, missing out on the veteran rewards that they obtained in D1. Considering the fact that you can tie your Bnet account to your bungie account now, this should be completely feasible.

      • Seriously. 1000 hours in D1 on ps4, but because I had to sell my ps4 a while back (and use my computer for gaming) those hours will cease to exist in D2. I don't care if its just an emblem, I want to show that D1 was my favorite game of all time.

        • Doubt it'll happen sadly. One of the reasons afaik, was that they didn't want to exclude new Destiny players on PC that didn't own a console to play Destiny 1, but what about people new to Destiny on console, they wont get veteran rewards either? So that answer didn't seem like the real reason, but it's their game, they can do as they please.

        • I just noticed today, you can link your Xbox Live or PSN to your Battle.net account in the "Security Options" > "Connected Accounts" So now that we can not only link our Battle.net account to our Bungie.net account which is also linked to our XBL or PSN account, we can now also Link PSN or XBL to our Blizzard/Battle.net account. Bungie needs to explain why we can't now have the same rewards on PC.

Would be nice if Bungie could at least honestly *explain* why they won't do it. because technically, it's super easy... they already pulled the data from console accounts to display here, on our bungie.net account, and they even showed our guardian stats and loot, so cross save is even possible. (though i understand why cross save on PC would be bad until the first D2 DLC when everyone will be on par.) battle.net account, console account, they are all linked here. so really SUPER easy. The only real reason i can think of why they won't do it is simply lazyness. it isn't even greed, because if they were greedy, they would add cross save in a heartbeat and allow us to buy the game on all 3 platforms :D the data is here, they litterally only need to press a button, and we can all enjoy recognition, freedom and confort. Right now, it seems they removed everything from the bungie.net account. i can't find anything related to previous games. Only D2 remains, if i check other people's profiles. By staying silent on the matter, Bungie is only insulting us.

Everyone in opposition clearly is misunderstanding OP. PS4 players got Emblems they shouldn't have and PC is being denied those same emblems even through the parameters are met. The console family part of the rational explanation is invalidated when PlayStation members get rewards that should only be available to Xbox players. It isn't being whiney, nor is it a valid insult to call somebody a special snowflake when they are simply asking for a rational explanation as to why they cannot have something they're entitled to. Imagine going to a Walmart to purchase a gun. You're a license owning, straight-faced and rational person, having taken years of ROTC. You can disassemble a gun and reassemble it in seconds and you have deadly aim. Just as you want to purchase a hunting rifle, a 9-year old scoots into Walmart on a Razer scooter, chewing bubblegum, and purchases the rifle before your eyes because he is related to the clerk. The clerk then refuses to give you a rifle, even though there are many more in the back. Is it still being a special snowflake? The arguments being used by those who don't agree with the original poster aren't actual arguments. They're asinine and use a sentence without any meaning as a gratification. I guarantee that if everyone calling OP a special snowflake were promised something for being PlayStation veterans then Xbox was given their rewards without going through the requirements, there would be an uproar. And yes, I did just imply that everyone fighting OP is on PlayStation, because the sense of entitlement and superiority is uncanny and isn't shared by any other console playerbase. The fact is just that PS owners will always win against Xbox owners on this forum by pure numbers alone and thoughtless use of hateful phrases.

the worst of it is that veteran players on console get different dialog lines from some NPCs (most players don't notice it...) referecing previous events while new players get lore explanation instead. but on PC, we will download the game with those lines of dialog, but we will never be able to hear them as we cannot get the veteran status because Bungie to too lazy to make it happen, which means wasted bandwidth and wasted storage space on our drives... :D

I got a lot of hate for asking if the Veteran emblems that some of us received when D1 came out would return for D2. I guess the The Seventh Column spirit is really long gone or dead. It's not about being entitled to an emblem or being a snowflake like some of the members called me. With emblem or no emblem, I will play and enjoy the game. My only problem is how Bungie has decided to erase our accomplishments, even our tenure on this site has been hidden. Why? I just can't find an explanation to it. Whether you joined in 2001, during the Halo 2 days, H3, Reach or even D1 Alpha, Beta and Launch, those deeds shouldn't be forgotten. Bungie lead the way as example to other developers on how to interact and treat the community back in days. I just refuse to believe all of that is gone. I think PC players deserve the same treatment as consoles and they should get their emblem too. Just my opinion.

                    • Although I 100% understand and agree. Almost 100% positive all the executive decisions on vet reward systems from now and in the past were all made by Activision. Hard to imagine Bungie being in whole agreement to not give their seasoned players rewards.
