Date Of Activation Codes Sent To Retailers
It seems that a lot of people who pre-ordered the Destiny 2 digital version from retailers such as Best Buy can't pre-load because they haven't received their activation codes. When will these codes be provided to the retailers so they can send them out?
The downloading seems to be taking a long time because of the large file size so if those codes aren't sent until release day then I doubt any of those people will be able to play that day as they will all be downloading the game.

You should receive your code for the game's release on September 6th for console. If you didn't purchase on the console store, you won't be able to preload. Sadly, it's that simple.

Hello, pre loading is only for direct console orders. You will need to contact the Retailer you pre ordered from to find out when and how you will be receiving your Destiny2 codes.
