The Exotics we will miss in Destiny 2
Let's face it, we all have those exotic armors and weapons that we love. This post is dedicated to the special exotics that we have held close to our hearts for a very long time in Destiny.
You may list your one favorite exotic armor, exotic primary, exotic special, and exotic heavy that we do not know will be returning.
The exotics I'll miss:
Bones of Eao: these were the definition of Hunter agility.
Hawkmoon: I cried tears of joy when I first got mine from a solo PoE in year 1. I didn't cry, my eyes were sweating.
The Chaperone: got it on my birthday and it reminded me of the western movies I'd watch with my grandmother when I was younger.
Gjallarhorn: does this really need an explanation?

1 ReplyDitto for The Chaperone. Especially the OG one. But I do have a feeling Gjallarhorn will return in D2. It's too symbolic and iconic to miss out on the sequel.

It was a weapon that made me enjoy the Fallen more because it felt like their weapons existed in the universe. I hope that the design team for Destiny 2 has some enemy faction-themed gear lined up for player use. The Dune-Marcher boots for the Titan were pretty sweet.

[b]Lord of Wolves[/b]. Because it's an underrated and unique gem of gun. [b]Voidfang Vestments[/b]. Because I can't stop dreaming about teeth. [b]Nothing Manacles[/b]. Because grenades for days. [b]Necrochasm[/b]. Because I -blam!-ING EARNED THIS ONE AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME. [b]Gjallarhorn[/b]. Because of that feeling when a weapon becomes the most useful, sought after thing in the game...and I bought one from Xur on a whim. My first exotic, Destiny week 2. [b]Exotic Faction Class Items[/b]. Because breaking the 1 exotic only rule is fun in it's own right. [b]Universal Remote[/b]. Because -blam!- it, have another shotgun. [b]The First Curse[/b]. Because of how I got it. Took Imprecation into FFA. Started checking loadouts. Everyone is using Imprecation...realize everyone in this match must be working on the same quest...realize this is my best chance to complete it, everyone's using a crappy weapon. Finish quest objective early on in match. Get a brilliant idea. Put on my Oryx mask and start dancing in front of anyone I meet so everyone can finish the quest easily. As more players complete the quest they join in and start dancing in front of those still working on it. By the end of the match everyone was dancing or sitting in the center of the map with their quest complete. No one joined chat parties or sent messages, they all just realized what was going on and joined in. Best Crucible match ever. [b]Light Level 400 Imprecation[/b]. Because I have one and I bet most of you never even thought to try and do that. That's right, I sacrificed my only 400 light primary for bragging rights. Most powerful white rarity gun in the game.

Got it my first hard mode completion in October 2014 and never got it again despite a dozen or so VoG hard mode completions. 2. Gjallerhorn before they nerfed Wolfpack rounds. NUFF SAID. Grinded 600 hours for it before it dropped from beating Crota in normal Dark Below in February 2015. Our clan decided to breeze through just for fun on normal that night. 3. MIDA MULTI-TOOL. I loved this gun before it was cool. Got it from Nightfall in October 2014. Had trouble NOT landing crits with this thing.
