I may be mistaken, but I believe it was over 80 "activities," to be more specific. That probably includes things like Patrols, Public Events, Crucible, etc. Every Strike likely adds to that number as well. 80 missions and 55+ hours for the main story line would be a lot.

I really really hope that when they said 80 missions they meant 80 missions...still skeptical
