Pretty simple question, really. For me, it's definitely Skellige in the Witcher 3, or the Countryside from Dying Light: The Following. I felt right at home in Skellige because it is based on Norse-Gael culture, that of my ancestors. Hearing Irish accents, Irish words, and Gaelic music was amazing. And the plants and weathers and the rocky hills are common where I live. I like the Countryside because it's exactly like the place I live in. Dirt backroads, huge fields, rivers, forests, although there's no zombies...

When I was younger, Lumbridge in RS use to feel like home, but now...well with over 2500 hours combined in both consoles, I have to say the cosmodrome patrol zone in Destiny. The ammount of hours I soent must running around doing some Parkour on my hunter and staring in the ocean while watching the day/night cycle...yes. Yes this is home now.

Player Houses in Elder Scrolls games. I have fond memories specifically of "my" houses in Morrowind. I'd go around Balmora and steal any lanterns I could find and relocate them in my house. They always cast the most calming shade of blue.
Honorable mention: The Balmora mages guild communal bunks. They were the first people in Vvardenfell that were kind to me and offered me a bed.
Destiny islands/traverse town in kingdom hearts. I spent a lot of time at those places when I was younger, I know every nook and cranny. IDK what it is about those places but it's just a very comfortable setting.

Edited by Matt Boy52: 8/29/2017 3:51:11 AMMy player home in Fallout 4. Granted it's a mod that added in a manor but it looks so beautiful. Multiple bedrooms for my companions, lots of space for decorating and has a large basement to store my power armors and display my weapons. Just a nice calm place to return to after a hard day's work in the wasteland.

The Tower in Destiny and Qeynos in Everquest because of the amount of time I actually spent there.

All of Minecraft. Beautiful game. Baulder's Gate from Baulder's Gate: Dark Alliance 2. That house you can buy in Whiterun in Skyrim.

Does minecraft count? That's kind of a cop out since you can customize an area any way you want. There was a COD campaign mission that took place in a Virginian neighborhood. I'm only a couple states away from VA, so the setting looked like it could have been my backyard.

4 RepliesI really liked skellige as well. I listen to a lot of music thats inspired by that old coastal Irish/Scottish music as well so I had a perfect playlist to accompany my travels

It was the tower from Destiny and Blood Gulch from halo. Imagine my sorrow learning that the tower was destroyed in D2

Requiem. From Halo 4. Don't know why, but I felt comfy there in the open :) Felt like I belong.

Mother's Embrace in Horizon Zero Dawn or the Rift in Skyrim. Pretty much any forested place with an mix of deciduous and coniferous trees and a a seemingly temperate climate.

Zion in FO:NV Honest Hearts. That place was damn near as peaceful as it can get.

This is lame, but Whiterun and any of the hubs in Destiny.
Playing Pretend You're Xyzzy with friends always puts me at ease. Doubt that counts, though.
3 RepliesWeirdly enough, the plague lands in destiny. I'm a person who likes both technology as well as cold snowy conditions, so I quickly became comfortable in the plague lands

Most of the ceres tile sets in warframe (basically industrial factory areas) And pretty much all of skyrim even the vampire lairs like the castle (not even gonna try to spell it cuz I'll butcher it) except for the tomes
