Like a lot of early access games, we are allowed to pre-download the game like a day or two before so that when the early access starts we just have to run a launch patch that reduces the amount of time we have to wait.
Because on my battle.net it still says I have to pre-order the game to join the beta when I already redeemed my code earlier this year for pc.

If you redeemed your code on bungie and gotten your code for the pc beta make sure to redeem it on battle net for the early access, if you’ve already put the code in and not gotten a [b]beta code[/b] make sure to go to your redeemed codes and go through the process and select your platform as pc to get a code
