I know it's not a big deal to some players, but I also know there are players such as myself who actually care somewhat about the appearance of their Character.
It's kind of a bummer that you can't change your migrated character's appearance in D2. I chose an appearance that I got tired of literally two weeks after I first made my human hunter. I had always hoped since year 1 they would give us the option to edit our appearance a bit, but that never happened. So I was looking forward to D2 thinking you could change your original character's appearance, doesn't have to be race, but at least the hair and other facial features.
I know I could just redeem the emblems on my original character then create a new one and be on my marry way but still it would be pretty neat if I could primarily use and keep my very first character. Regardless I'm excited for D2.
Anyone else feel like we should be able to edit our migrated character's appearance? or have an opinion on the topic?

Honestly doesn't bother me now, I went and remade my original warlock because I didn't like how he looked and I wanted to see what a female warlock would be like. Regretted it almost immediately so I deleted the female warlock and made a male warlock with a look I'm happy with. So I don't mind not being able to change how he looks in d2. The other two will be getting remade in d2. I just miss my original day 1 warlock, even though he looked stupid, game hasn't felt the same since.

2 RepliesIf we can't have facial hair. I'm gonna wear that helmet like a paperbag.
ashamed but proud.
1 ReplyI prefer having the same character I started off making. ~TheGreatNike

1 ReplyWill character creation be identical to D1? If so okay I'll keep my old character but if there will be difference faces, hair etc... but I can't edit my old character then I'll probably make a new one.

It's kind of a bummer that you can't change your migrated character's appearance in D2.
I agree. It's like they either don't have any female developers or none of their devs are married or have girlfriends because anyone who has ever been in a relationship with a female knows how much we like to change our hair syle, hair color, makeup... etc. etc. It's been a bee in my bonnet since day 1 that we can't change our character's appearance.

9 RepliesI agree but if your only worried about your emblems I read on other posts of this nature that they are account based not character based. So you should be able to start fresh.

2 RepliesI care about game content. I would prefer game developers to concentrate on producing playable content rather than the cosmetic aspects such as character appearance. It an FPS. You don't even see what your guardian looks like most of the time.

The appearance is literally the only thing you're migrating.

Once i realized my appearance is only shown when I'm at the tower, i stopped caring.

Even more sad to some which it matters you can't edit your transfer character appearance in D2.
