Now that D1 is coming in, I think it would be a good thing to look back on some of the best moments and triumphs that we all have made in the 3 years we have played Destiny.
Every week until Destiny 2, I'm going to make a post relating to a certain topic. The first today is your most favorite strike in Destiny 1.
Personally, I love the non-Taken Winter's Run. I'm not sure why, but it was my favorite strike the moment I first played it.

crota was a cakewalk

Edited by Deadmennwalking: 8/11/2017 5:10:10 AMStrikes are the only part of Destiny that continually over the last 3 years I have found boring. Some guardians love to grind strikes. I prefer to just do the minimum and move on to other activities. This is probably why I still have one strike shader and one emblem to collect. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor

2 RepliesOriginal summoning pits.

The Nexus Mind was and still is my favorite, followed by the Archon Priest.

4 RepliesCrota

1 ReplyAny Weekly Heroic strike. Vanilla players know what I mean. As for the actual strike, I would say The Wretched Eye was my favorite because the entire area is new with it taking place outside of patrolable areas.

Shield Brothers with Trickle and grounded
-
Omnigul

Devils lair, remember runing it in story mode level 8,thought it was the hardest thing ever, the guys I started with quit because they thought it was to hard.
-
The original Undying Mind with all the yellow bars on the steps.
-
I loved The Devil's Lair and Valus.

3 RepliesThe original send back to orbit Nighfall style omnigul with arc burn.

2 RepliesEdited by Trollefix: 8/10/2017 12:43:29 PMCan't recall the name. The one that had real loud volume when the boss spawned, until it was fixed. Waking up the Neighbourhood -strike.

Taniks and Undying Mind. If Inverted Spire was in D1 then that would be my favorite.

Edited by MEMxxLEGEND: 8/10/2017 12:48:42 PMThe Devils Lair, but Sepiks Perfected (technically the same strike) and The Shadow Thief are right there behind it for me. Fighting Sepiks with the epic orchestra music playing in the background never gets old. Taniks's music is very intense as well, alongside the metal version of Sepiks Perfected.
Personally, I love the non-Taken Winter's Run. I'm not sure why, but it was my favorite strike the moment I first played it.
Right there with you. Something about how it was laid out from running through the Ember Caves to fighting the Vex in the openness of The Cinders to 'borrowing' the Pikes to the end fight with Aksor. I have always wished that we had more strikes that had a similar layout in Destiny.

The original shadow thief was awesome!

Phogoth. The original. The new one was ok but the original was my favorite.
-
Always liked the Undying Mind for some reason

1 ReplyThe Shadow Thief! Love how you hunt down and fight Taniks the whole way through, never get tired of it!
