So, I was going through #Help when I noticed a few posts from people that have recently been banned. Well, after checking their b.net profiles, I noticed that these people are all in the same clan. Now, I know Bungie bans people, but banning a whole clan is some next level stuff.
My message to everyone is to be careful who you play with. I find it odd that Bungie is choosing to ban people so close to the release of Destiny 2. Are these bans going to carry over? We don't know, but people are getting the banhammer 5 weeks before Destiny 2 releases.
Keep it up Bungie!

1 ReplyConsidering most clans I see are the bare minimum of three people, banning a "whole clan" as you put it won't do much.

At this point Destiny 1 is pretty much done and Dead as hell. Mark your calendars for Destiny 2 and hope for the best and expect the worst. See everyone that likes the general fun of gaming on Destiny 2. Until then, RIP Destiny 1.

26 RepliesI got a warning from some pathetic ninja for saying luke Smith was an idiot. And for using the word desticle.

3 RepliesEdited by Dark Raven 2501: 7/28/2017 8:58:01 PMI myself get ban from the forum right before the bata for one week for calling luke smith a dick and I have never been in a clan whatsoever but I bet the people that complained about my post are in one. If bungie went after the people that cause the real problem we wouldn't have half the crap in the forum in the first place

2 RepliesGetting banned now in d1 is kinda pointlesss

3 RepliesGlad they are going after people who deliberately cheated, or partied with people they knew who were cheating. If it is a bunch of randoms and you get banned for playing a match you randomly got thrown into that is one thing. But to know the people who are cheating and heck are even in the same clan/guild as you, I have no sympathy for them. I hope the bans continue throughout all Bungie products personally. However I can see Bungie leaning on the side. They cheated in Destiny and were banned from that game. Destiny 2 is a new game. They will not be banned in this game until they are proven cheaters in this game. Keep up the eternal fight to keep our games clean!

1 ReplyEdited by ││█║▌│: 7/29/2017 9:36:32 AMI made the mistake of joining a random lobby many years ago and I will never make that mistake again. That's the reason I only ever play with people I have known for a long time, even if that means missing out on content because 90% of them don't play Destiny. Just a thought, but will Bungie look at guilty by association any differently if the innocent player parties up with a clan through Guide Games? I'll never use it so I really don't care, it's just that Guided Games is an internal LFG and was curious as to whether or not they would look at it differently.

Awesome, the more kids banned the better

So finally as the game approaches the end of its lifespan and the Trials will soon no longer be the advertising money train on Twitch, Bungie brings the ban hammer down hard. While the game still had life and so called "donations" (not paid carries, that's against Bungie's policy) were and are the norm there was a liberal approach to banning as a lot of Twitch streamers would have been banned and Destinys status in Twtich would have suffered. It's all about timming. Morals and Ethics mean nothing when there's a pretty penny to be made. Bungie's hypocrisy knows no bounds.

3 RepliesGo Bungie! I hope the hammer hits harder in D2!
The emoji movie is out in theaters
~TheGreatNike

6 RepliesPlay fair and you will never have to worry about bans. Play like jackasses just to screw over people you deserve to be banned and never allowed back on to play.
-
I'm SO glad they are actually banning people. Don't know if it will carry over but if I was in charge, they would be locked out on D2 as well. Once a cheater always a cheater. A whole clan that cheats. God what garbage.

Bump for support.

Yeah man it's a esport now. It's more learnable. Got to get all the good players out so it's not as chaotic and will be more watchable. Deej said it himself

I don't think it's a clan ban, but it's possible. It seems likely that the people in the clan have the same ideas/share them throughout the clan. Some of these could be radical enough for a ban.

1 ReplyEdited by OkamiToge: 7/28/2017 8:28:58 AMI have no God mode like I see a lot of people in crucible do taking my fusion grenades to the face and surviving, idk how I completed the sunsinger quest for multikills. I do see many squads of people and a lot of them are from SA with their connections shooting up and down from green to red and back up again, and even with grenades stuck to their face and me hitting them twice with melee not doing even the tiniest bit of damage to them not even damaging their shield and then I get destroyed...

To all the cheating freaks: ITS A DAMNED GAME !!!

Yeah. Just yesterday I played a guy who teleported like on Star Trek. Elusive as hell but got him a few times with GG. That is cheating....play fair.
