Jorge is not Halsey's son, Miranda IS her daughter
So I just watched "Halo follower's" video on Dr. Halsey and the majority of people didn't know that:
A.) Commander Miranda Keyes was the daughter of Catherine Halsey and Jacob Keyes.
B.) People DO REALIZE Jorge had a heavy HUNGARIAN ACCENT right?, so when he said "MA'AM" during the cutscene in Halo: Reach, it sounds like mom.
Miranda's revelation shouldn't be a surprise due to it being mentioned in several of the Halo Novels, as well as the "Diary of Halsey", and the Keyes Terminal in Halo: CE Anniversary. Jorge on the other hand, now THAT surprised me at how many people misunderstood his pronunciation of the word Ma'am and thought he was Halsey's biological son the entire time.
Color humanity stupid.

1 ReplyOk maybe it's cos I'm British and we get a lot of different accents here, but I have never once mistaken Jorges ma'am for mom. It's clearly ma'am. I didn't even realise this was a thing.
