It was cool but it essential till I landed in the farm where I was like wow those Red legion Bkew the tower uo it was then as I felt sad my tower was gone the farm is cool but it's not the tower Rip the tower IDK must just be change got to get use to change but I would hope we get a social space that as epic is the tower was down the road who knows maybe we will rebuild are tower and have it back at some point but all in all it was cool Felt like I was on a camping trip

Tractors... Forklifts... Bungie always finds a way to spoil our fun. I was in the farm past 11:30 pm CST, but sometime after I wrapped a rubber band around my controller sticks and went to bed I finally got kicked. I sure was hoping it wouldn't time me out. Lol Did anyone else glitch into the cylinder with the Gatekeeper door on it? Pretty cool... If you haven't seen it our need to know how to do it, check out Rifle Gaming on YouTube. He has a video up on how to get in there. BTW... Why no sparrows, or as our character says "vehicles", in the Beta to explore with? Yes I know there are pikes roaming around.

1 ReplyI was there also, enjoyed the kick about with the football and enjoyed the open space even though a great deal was completely redundant. The nagging issue i have and couldn't come to terms with no matter how much i tried is "why a farm!?!". This is supposedly the Guardians rallying point before heading out to take on the Red Legion and the best we can come up with is a dilapidated farmhouse with a rusty Tractor. It feels like we just got our butts handed to us and we quickly decided to take a relaxing time out in the country side. Much prefer a sense of urgency with makeshift barracks for personnel, engineers and mechanics running around, supply ships docking in the fields while we quickly prepare for a counter attack. Way too quiet considering what the Vanguard and last city are going through.

3 RepliesYeah, I was there. I got a lot crap for saying this during IGN's sneak preview but I'll say it again, I wasn't impressed. It's bigger than the Reef and the Iron Temple but it feels smaller than the Tower. Aesthetics wise, I prefer natural environments to man made structures so in theory the Farm should be right up my alley but the space itself doesn't feel as memorable as the Tower, I look at what's there and I don't see it fulfilling its roll as the main hub area of Destiny 2, it feels like a temporary hub area.

2 RepliesIt was definitely cool, I really enjoyed the feel of the new social space. Definitely makes the guardians more humble compared to the tower lol. I just wish there was something to find while we were exploring. I literally climbed everything and couldn't find anything other than some glowing fungus in the bush that could be something later.

Don't know if someone dislodged it, or Bungie reset it, but it got freed up eventually. Noticed my guardian vaulting up on things while climbing now, awesome, but only noticed it at The Farm and not so much in game play. Anyone else? Oh, yeah. Don't go out the OPEN gate! Not funny, Bungie. Really it was. Did the "No, no, no, no, no! Whew!

60 minutes, lol. Explored the whole place in about 10. I thought they would have the vendors there to show you what would be for sale at release, guess not.

Nah, I forgot about it actually. Was playing Dark Souls 3 all morning. By the time I remembered about the farm social, it was already over with I assume. At least I couldn't find it when I got back on the Beta.

I went to the farm for about 30mins. I enjoyed gazing into the distance from the bench or playing in the woods.

Was there for 2 hours and some more. Neat stuff, especially the soccer field. It does however show some funky collision detection, as the ball bounces around you in a weird way, but who cares. It's not Fifa, just a way to pass the time.
