So I built my first gaming pc yesterday. Turned out really nicely actually. But, I did manage to score some incredible deals and wanted to share some of them with you guys. CPU: Intel i7 6850k - 300$ at microcenter. (Normally 700$) Motherboard: MSI x99a carbon gaming - 180$ on amazon. (Bought open box, normally retails around 250$) GPU: GTX 1060 Strix oc 6gb 260$ on eBay. (At the moment retails around 500) (Don't but gpus right now as a micro currency that has just made its way to the mainstream mining business is iacking gpu prices. I still overplayed for that card) Ram: 2x8gb TridentZ RGB ram by g.skill. (3000mhz) - Microcenter for 140$ Storage - 120gb Kingston ssd (50$) 1tb sea gate hard drive (30$) (don't cheap out on getting adequate storage.) (Pro tip: Put your operating system on you ssd and games on the hard drive) -Microcenter. PSU: Thermaltake 750 watt rgb power supply (100$) - microcenter Case NZXT Razer s340 - 100$ CPU Cooler NZXT Kraken x62 Ask me any questions you guys have.
