Weak weapons,
People just walk away from engagements,
Lengthy super recharge rate,
Sweaty 4v4's,
STILL laggy as hell,
If one person leaves, your team is absolutely screwed,
Feels more like a 4v4, dumbed down Call of Duty.
A thing of note, it's interesting how, bar a few outliers, the majority of people loving the new system have negative k/ds. Anything to do with the new k/d system perhaps? Enjoying your participation medals?
͡° ͜ʖ ͡°
People walking away from engagement is strategic if you don't have the upper hand and your losing a gun fight walk way find someone else to get the drop on. D2 PvP is very strategic whether you think so or not choose your battles don't just charge in like D1
-
my k/d has been negative.. but I feel it's due to D1 -blam!-ery in game and connection. in the beta.. I've only played 4 matches but people have to aim. I like that it isn't op weapon one shot from some guy that for all I know cheats or had an account recovery or whatever. now it seems more tied to who has better aim. if people leave this game because they don't have time to aim and shoot I won't mind. I hate one shot kills. unless it a shotgun to the face or a super. one burst God roll pulse rifle kills were bullshit

5 RepliesMissing your secondary easy mode kills are you guardian?
-
8 RepliesStill better than shit storm of ability spamming
-
3 RepliesI'm loving it, for the most part. I've seen some lag, but nothing terrible. The armor looks sick AF, the weapons are working well, LOVING the slower TTK. The shorter respawn times make it hardly feel like 4v4.
-
PVP is great, you're just shit bro
-
4 RepliesLove it. Actually have to primary somebody down now. Can't use special as a crutch anymore, or shoulder charge, or sticky grenades.
-
I like it . How is this considered shitty? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtc0Zir2mOI Maybe get gud?

Players need to adjust to the new crucible, not everything can be made how you want it, and not everyone will want it how you do. The d2 pvp is the pvp i wanted throughout all of d1. Play d1 pvp if you don't like how d2 is, just like how I'll play d2 pvp because I don't like how d1 is.
-
I have to say I didn't like it at all at first, but then I played some D1 and realized D2 pvp is much better. You definitely have to play as a team. It's nothing you can't get used to.

No, we are not all in agreement.

Edited by Optimus96: 7/19/2017 6:18:15 PMSo wait...you want the same game or different one? This community confuses the heck out of me. Look, you still have D1 to get easy cheap kills in - go back to that. I actually feel like most of my firefights are more skill based. It also helps that you do not throw your grenade the first 10s of the match. Most people I see doing this is on the bottom of the scoreboard.
-
10 RepliesIs this because you actually have to have skill to play now?
-
1 ReplySo they changed the shitty d1 crucible into shitty d2 crucible? Take my money.
-
Your about half right: super recharge is too low and if someone leaves your team is royally F-ed. However primary gun play is nice and controlling different areas or controlling power ammo is an interesting change. Much different than throw a Grenade and rush in with sidearms. I enjoyed the primary play. Teamshotting is more prevalent and ducking out of engagements is necessary but idk I liked the change. Note: I played entirely solo, no fireteam
-
2 RepliesWell said me and my friends didn't enjoy it we logged back into D1 and played pvp in there instead.
-
22 RepliesNo, what’s the matter? You have to use your primary? Awww..
-
Most of your points are sound, but don't think it's trash. I do think D1's crucible is the best.
-
9 RepliesHello, positive k/d player here oh troll of epic proportions. Just popped in to say I love the crucible as it is now in the beta. Every kill and death feels deserved one way or another. Its nice to not walk around the corner to a grenade Every. Single. Time. It's nice to feel that teamwork is important. Its nice to feel OP in your super since you only get it once. Just Fyi, my best k/d so far has been a 13.0 in control, and my biggest k/d in the other game type is 8.0 with 16 kills in that match.
-
2 RepliesTry hards always run away from shooting engagements.
-
2 RepliesEveryone wanted a gun skill game and since bungie is a bunch of morons they made a team kill game. Pvp plays like overwatch now team shoot everyone and everything
-
Ive enjoyed it
-
4 RepliesLove it cause they made fusions awesome
-
In my experience there was no lag, and your point about k/d is irrelevant, I have a positive k/d in destiny 1 and did in the beta games I played as well, and loved it so...

Crucible in D2 , the beta at least, seems to have picked up right where D1 left off. It was known that the weapon balance in the beta wasn't quite there so the weak weapons isn't really a surprise. What is still the same is playing 3-4 games to find a decent lobby, only to have one side with a clear advantage over the other. I consistently have games where my team will be killing it and everyone is positive with 2.0+ K/D's. Next game, the other team will be killing it and everyone on my team is struggling with 0.25 K/D's. In those bad games, I can still empty whole clips into people and their shields won't even go down while they can 3-4 shot me with an auto and I'm dead. And this is just the low intensity crucible. When I played Countdown, wow, super sweaty matches. SUPER SWEATY. Somethings still not right in crucible and I'm not entirely surprised by this.

Seems good to me 😳
