Been a bit of time since I last played, but I'll try and offer some advice: -Make sure you're in the clear when you use your HRV. It's not an easy thing to do, admittedly, but it's good to practice. You won't know where anybody is if you don't use your HRV, but it does leave you vulnerable. -Be ready for grenades. Blind corners are common and just about everyone carries something to take advantage of them. Could be a shock grenade to slow you down and ruin your aim, an EMP grenade to give your helmet the BSOD, or maybe just an HE grenade to kill you outright. Oh, and in some rare occasions you'll run into toxic grenades, which make damage over time clouds -Different ammunition does different things. Toxic ammo will eat at your helmet and effectively melt you over time. Incin will do damage over time as well, but they nerfed those rounds months ago. Shock does a little less damage, but messes with movement and aim, like a shock grenade does. Explosive ammo will jar your aim and make you impossible to revive if it kills you. -Apparently you can very consistently rent all the weapons parts you want for a day, every day you play. I wouldn't know for sure, I always saved up to own the parts permanently. -Mobility is usually preferred over health and defense. -Know what parts of the map have roofing and which parts don't. Those are where airstrikes and hardsuits can happen. -Hardsuits have set weakpoints. The Rhino has one in it's spine (I think) while the gunman has one on it's ammo drum. EMPs and Shock grenades can help you survive against them, and the best ways to handle them are to either use anti-armor rockets or to cook the pilot out with a flamethrower. -the Kukri (machete) can one hit kill most people. Axes can do the same, I think (they're known better for being thrown). Breach hammers (that aren't elemental) can one hit kill anyone else and stop them from being revived. -You can probably customize your crosshair in the PS4 edition. -Your health bar can regenerate up to 50% -Hardsuits, capture point, and door controls can be hacked. Hacking doors will close or open them, capture points are taken faster by being hacked, and empty hardsuits can be hacked to allow you to use them (if they aren't yours already).
