Man drives into a group of Muslims, one man dies
[quote]A man has died and eight people have been injured after a van ploughed into pedestrians near a north London mosque.
The van mounted the pavement and struck a group of people just after midnight near Finsbury Park Mosque in Seven Sisters Road. A 48-year-old man has been arrested.
Prime Minister Theresa May said police were treating it "as a potential terrorist attack".
The Muslim Council of Britain said a van intentionally ran over worshippers.
Eyewitness Abdul Rahman told the BBC he struck one of the attackers and helped subdue him.
"When the guy came out from his van he wanted to escape, run away and he was saying 'I want to kill Muslims. 'I want to kill Muslims.'
"I hit him on his stomach... and then me and the other guys... we held him to the ground until he couldn't move. We stopped him until the police came."[/quote]

I knew this was going to happen, some guy is just going to do something as stupid as this.
This is going to have a lot of consequences.
This is just awful, I believe someone would be so careless and dumb to purposely drive into a group of Muslims going about their day, but I thought this would be an idea and not someone would actually do.

6 RepliesThe unfortunate thing is that no matter how the west responds, it plays well for ISIS. If we sit back and let it happen, it is a good thing for them (they will be able to continue to commit these egregious and disgusting acts. If people retaliate like this guy did, it also plays well for them. It them gives them some sort of vindication/validation in what they are doing (they will feel that attacks are necessary because we attacked other Muslims). Either way, it doesn't look good.

As if he slammed a truck through people then jumped out and screamed some sort of non-Muslim version of "Allahu Ackbar!" The image of the dude trying to run away like Roadrunner while gleefully shouting his intent over his shoulder in case it just wasn't clear enough that he wanted to kill Muslims by driving a truck through Muslims has some macabre slapstick to it.
