Not sure about you guys but I love raiding but these scrubs that are pure shit raiders from LFG are pathetic. Can't even get by Templar or do a Croata without getting completely frustrated.
They come in and lie about completions and suck so bad posting to LFG 3 or 4 times just to find competent players is the norm.
It is so bad running my 2 favorite raids Croata and VOG just isn't even worth the aggravation.
If anyone is a year 1 player with at least 100 completions on both those raids add me on Xbox. Sick of raiding with complete idiot's.

I feel your pain. I was in the tower earlier and got a random invite. They wanted to do Crota, and 3 admitted to never having completed it, and two hadn't done it since year one. No biggy, it's simple, talked them through it, we got to Crota no problem, the lag was slowing us down more than them to be fair. I ran sword, but after ten times of them having the inability to kill the oversoul (even with celestial) I gave up. Didn't even want/need to do the raid, but thought I'd be nice and help them through it. But when they can't even help themselves, how are you meant to help them.

28 RepliesMaybe because no one has bothered to teach them for so long because people have had your mentality from day one.

1 ReplyI joined a group a month back. Guy was all crazy with his req's, but it was cool: I had done the raid since Year 1 (VoG) and understood the new hard mode changes. Jump in and he is ranting about how he will "kick" if anyone dies, and how he did parts solo back in the day,etc etc ad nauseam. We were at the Templar, and he was all about that relic. Basically said he could do this by himself if we wanted to chill, but wouldn't cause it takes too long. I am trying not to laugh most of the time, but whatever: I am raiding, so let's go. After his 3rd death, and after the constant blaming of others rather than having any real map awareness, he makes someone else leader and quits the raid. It was his raid group, one in which he verbally told us "If you are dying, I will kick you." I mean, I guess he was honest: he died, and kicked himself. Just think it is hilarious when one makes the expectation that "No one can die!" and then dies repeatedly. Anyway, after he left the other 4 were feeling like they would leave too, but I said "No worries guys - we can 5 man this". I grabbed relic, and a few mins later we are down in the gorgon maze. All these guys needed was some direction, and they got it done. The guy that was the problem was the same guy that claimed to be the "MLG Pro" of the group. Point is the problem is not always with "everyone else" - if you are having trouble with a section, it is just as likely that your approach is an issue just as much as everyone else's.

1 ReplyIf you were on my team, I wouldn't be motivated to do well either.

2 RepliesThat sucks you needed 100 compltions to be good at raiding. I just needed one. Git gud maybe?

3 Replies"RAID TEAMS ARE PURE CRAP NOW DAYS" Yeah, because players like you are an epidemic and contribute to a failed raid team much more than inexperienced players do. I've noticed that toxic attitudes form pretend elitist gamers like OP bring down a raid team fast. They berate, harass, talk down on, humiliate other players that may make mistakes or are inexperienced. This toxic attitude helps absolutely nothing and hurts the raid team as a whole. Instead of attacking and beating players down you should help them out and give them advice if they are having a hard time. This simple strategy is not only kind but also helpful and will obviously improve your chances of completing raids. I've also noticed players with OP's attitude are usually not very good players at all. It's like they have to attack other players to feel good about themselves and their gameplay. Putting the spotlight on someone else. And they ALWAYS blame other players for their mistakes. If OP wants to know who is making raid teams pure crap he needs to go look in the mirror.

Edited by Der Sheff: 6/6/2017 12:25:50 AMFeel free to add me. Between normal and Heroic, I certainly have more than 100 completions of each raid. Totes.

3 RepliesGuess all those elitist post aren't so bad huh?

22 RepliesMaybe take charge and teach them how to do it?

Spent 3 hours trying to get through Oryx checkpoint on 310. People just can't seem to get it. It only requires being able to do a series of actions in the right order, and they can't do it. But they'll tell you all about their dozens of completions and all their amazing achievements. All bullshit, of course. Never did complete it. So yeah, LFG raid teams are a royal pain in the ass.

Ah yes the 6 hour CrotA raids i remember them well I gave up in daughters when people could not figure out clockwise from counter Then I dropped into an axis where they were at axis for 3 hours man o man

Honestly man join a clan! I used lfg since day 1 and recently joined a raid clan and omg the smoothness and fluidity of raiding with the same competent people every time is awesome! Hopefully guided games will let some solo players in on that feeling!

2 RepliesScrubs are the new challenge !!!

Not sure what anyone expects at this point. Most of the seasoned raiders who use LFG are basically gone at this point, mainly leaving those that haven't really raided much trying to do so for their book completions. And it's just going to get worse as time goes on. It's why I have all but given up on the Chaos Dogma Exotic weapon. It's the only one I have not got in the game, and I just don't feel like beating my head against a wall just to try to get through that raid anymore.
