What is with all the crouch campers lately?
Seriously, it doesn't matter what the game type is- I see at least half of the other team crouch camping in every match. Did I miss a memo somewhere?

Don't add the joking tag, its true. Playing clash a few days ago, and kept getting those type of players. Sad part is my team didn't know how to rush em, or use their grenade right.

When you shoot a crouching guardian it almost always will be critical damage.

Everyone else who doesn't get it is just mad cuz bad. If you ain't crouching in certain situations you're not taking advantage and if you're not doing that and someone is. Well blame yourself and own up to it. Don't make excuses blaming the crouch mechanic as this and that. Utilise it. I for one am not in favor for a crouch nerf because people are inheritably bad not the mechnic itself. If you ask me they already nerfed crouch from the Halo baseline standard.

1 ReplyI started pvp around 3 weeks ago. As a true noob I did the crouch thing, it got annoying. Then I tried the run-crouch-run and it looked like I was trying to hold one in. Then I just started running in punching people in the face. Not only did that improve my kd, it was very satisfying. Note: Works best in morning or at night otherwise I get a shotgun blast to the dome.

Take a Knee + Transverse Steps Take a Knee + Keen Scout Most of us learned about using Transverse Steps and/or Keen Scout while doing the siege engine in WotM. Add weapons with the Take a Knee perk. You move faster crouched and aren't on radar as much. The perk also makes weapons handle better aim faster. So rather than add more salt to this pile, I'll leave it at this: [spoiler]Some people are still actively adjusting perk trees on subclasses and/or weapons to try new things.[/spoiler] [spoiler]There was also a post a week or so ago pointing out Transverse Steps + Take a Knee.[/spoiler] [spoiler]I have a B-29 party favor, hero formula, event horizon and 2 bone krushers with Take a Knee. I've messed around with it. I still prefer run and gun but notice the Take a Knee perk when it's active.[/spoiler]
