Title is the question and i am back and forth in thinking this
Maybe get self rez but lose dawn blade or vice versa
Edit: So consensus is that singer is replaced completely with Dawnblade
As a Singer my self it sucks but i like the idea of it making us think more tactically

1 ReplyWe don't know for sure but I would imagine not and it makes sense, too many people crutch on self res and bubbles!
-
1 ReplyBasically I mean there the same element and the both have wings
-
Sunsinger is gone
-
Sadly
-
4 RepliesYes and that also means no more easy mode self res.
-
14 RepliesSurely, they will stay as options? If Sentinel is supposed to replace the Bubble, then why did Zavala use a bubble shield in the trailer? I think sunsinger will probably stay in favour of more choices. Just my 2cents, I could very well be wrong.

2 RepliesEdited by Surprised Brony: 5/25/2017 5:56:06 AMI sure hope self-res is gone. Even as a Warlock main, it made me sad. It was badass, sure, but it was cheap and broken. It promoted a whole group of lazy Warlocks who didn't know how to avoid dying in the first place. Now, if it significantly increased the cooldown of Radiance or replaced the super, it would have made sense. Even then it's not a good idea to have it.
-
8 RepliesIt was boring anyways

I don't get why everyone hates self res so much. In pve, anyone could die for a number of reasons and the ability to revive yourself saves everyone a wipe. In PvP, every other super is more powerful. The melee glitches out constantly, and the shield is practically non-existent. The only good thing about the super is the ability to come back to life, which isn't even that useful when you're gunned down immediately. The hammer of sol has the same shields as a self res, but it can also throw deadly hammers and charge everyone. The only thing the sunsinger has is the self res, so quite complaining.
-
2 RepliesSelf res needs to die. So many people waste Sunsinger as a mulligan super and it is irritating as heck.
-
1 ReplyI swear to god if they make us buy the 3rd subclass again I'm going to be a little pissed
-
Yup. Id say it just makes it better tho. By like 500%

5 RepliesEdited by ChronoDragonT27: 5/25/2017 4:40:14 PMI really hope not because if it is, then Raids will be impossible to complete UNLESS YOU DO IT WHEN THE RESETSHAPPENS SINCE YOU ONLY GET PERFECT FIRETEAMS AT THAT TIME! Also, it seems that Bungie is doubling down on the PVP route thanks to Luke Smith's insisting that elements are useless along with making snipers and shotguns "Power Weapons" (Fusion Rifles get placed in there too) which ruins Titans and Hunters. In that same vein, they put in 4v4 to increase the number of tryhards and to push casuals by the wasteside along with exclusive clan rewards. Destiny 2 is already going to get the reward of "Worst Game of 2017!" in my opinion.

Looks like it to me. This is just guessing but I think we'll have two subclasses to start... Warlock will have dawnblade and voidwalker Titan will have captain america and striker Hunter will have poledancer and golden gun Third subclass for other element type will come later from a dlc quest. Or maybe something more will be shown at E3.
-
3 RepliesYes all the 2nd subclasses are being replaced
-
2 RepliesHopefully self res will be gone from the game. Made it too easy.
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
-
2 RepliesI have a feeling rez won't be back. It has broken so many things in this game making it possible to solo Oryx, Aksis, and pre AoT Atheon. The fact that dying and reviving yourself ignores or bypasses game mechanics is ridiculous to be honest with you.

Eververse will sell the missing sub-classes. Not to worry folks.
-
1 ReplyIt looks like it's getting replaced with Dawnblade, which I like better. An actual Super, and better Support utility. Who needs Fireborn when you can summon a Rift to heal or buff you and your allies? Plus it looks like the Subclass will be geared more towards aerial combat, with a mid-air dodge ability as well, which will help with the mobility issue.
-
Yes, it appears Sunsinger, Bladedancer and Defender are all being replaced.
-
6 RepliesNo more self-res - thank god. Even as a Warlock main, I can't stand it when other players show up to my raid trying to use that trash - they get the boot. Learn your class - stop holding onto your super - CONTRIBUTE to the group and make orbs, or GTFO.
-
7 RepliesVoidwalker, striker, gunslinger stay. Stormcaller/sunsingers, Nightstalker/blade dance, defender/hammers will not return.
-
11 RepliesHave to wait and see I guess. No self Rez lock kinda destroys what was once the greatest subclass this game has ever produced.
-
10 RepliesSooooo.... No more selfish warlocks? About time!!!!
-
7 RepliesFrom what I heard, after we defeat the cabal and return light to the system we get the old subclases
