Crucible Doubles
So last night I jump on to do some Crucible doubles. I admit I was a bit rusty. I played a particular match with a guy hi name is {REDACTED} I have a slow start and I'm not used to that game mode anyways the guy half way through match sends me a message saying "your useless" this is supposed to be my partner, of course I was pissed off that a guy would even take the time to message me about something soo stupid. So I ignored him and kept playing I got much better and we almost won the match. Then he sends me another message "leave plz" basically telling me to leave so he can get a "better" partner. I called him a "prick". I don't get it do you care that much about winning a stupid video game mode that gets you nothing but mental bragging rights only in your own mind over some person half way across the world who you don't know or care about or will never talk to. Self righteous piece of shits in this game seriously.

1 ReplyI'm currently grinding wins in doubles for the grimoire and will be doing so all weekend. Think I'm upto about 70 wins. I don't really care what my team mate is like. If he's good then ok if he's bad then whatever I can carry most of the kills myself. What i hate is them farming themselves out to give the other team kills. That annoys me I played a game where the other person left and I beat the other team by myself and they were tea bagging me every time they killed me which was pathetic as I was on my own. Then the next match they saw it was me and just left at the start and got a win lol.

Should have just replied to "Your useless", with "Lol, yes I know. Oh and btw *You're " To "Plz leave", "Nah, I'm staying. Beggars can't be choosers, therefore, if you had any friends, you wouldn't be playing with potatoes like me." The bottom line is, you paid the same money, to play the game, like everyone else, so no one has the right to tell you to leave a game, or discourage you from playing what you want.

As a solo pvp player myself my advice is stay away from doubles. I play for fun so dont mind playing the gamemode now and again. From my experience tho you are guaranteed 100% of the time to play against a fireteam. Two things will usually ensue 1) your teammate will be shit 2) after getting stomped and dying 8 times and not getting a kill he will leave leaving you on your own. Have fun 😁

The fact that you are breaking bungies name and shame rules in an effort to call out a player for asking you to leave the lobby so he isn't having to play with you again, sad dude.. he even said plz.. what more do you want.. him to have to play with you again? why.. why would you want to play with him again.. just leave and find a differnt partner that you can play with and have a good time.

I'm not attacking you, I'm just making an observation. Like you said, it's just a game. You'll meet all kinds of people online. Don't give them your time of day. Ignore them and stay positive.

I had an opposite experience, I played one match (not at the height of my alertness let's put it that way) and I played like such trash I was so pissed at myself I almost felt like apologizing, I turned off the Xbox and went to sleep lol

1 ReplyDoubles is nonstop sweat. 10 more wins for the completed grim score and I'll never be back. It gets even worse if you try to play with a partner. The games assumes you'll do very well and gives you ever sweatier players. Last night I went in with a friend and we lost 14 straight games. 14! We are good players but we weren't in the mood to sweat. There should be a casual option.

I stick with dealbreaker and gunshot with my titan because lot players using Last Word. But I play for fun. If player asking me to leave then I will tell him that "You are weakest link, good-bye." 😂

3 RepliesI had a guy message me in salvage cause he was a douche using stickies and every time he chucked one at me and missed and I proceeded to mow him down with an auto I would bag him, cause I mean he had sticks, he messaged me saying I suck and my current Scarab emblems I have on he mentioned that I was obviously "carried" to get the emblems that I have on, so I did some digging looked at his I mean I'm not one to really think I have God like stats, but compared to his no flawless wins, negative KD having in trials while me I'm clearly positive in both of my main accounts I decided to show him my numbers, never heard a word from him again after that, I was having fun in a game with a weapon I rarely use while he wanted to be a douche and try to sweat, and he got upset cause of a little bag, that was a good day

Doubles can get pretty sweaty. Not the mode you want to play if you're "rusty" imo.

Did doubles yesterday. One partner got 1 x kill and 1 x assist for 10 deaths and left. Next partner got 1 x assist for 9 deaths. Needless to say we didn't win against the 2 man fire team opponents that got both heavies. Have fun and may RNG be forever in your favor.

I hate doubles. If you get separated from your partner it can turn into a right stompfest. I don't even both with it past getting my box. I believe you had that guy bang to rights. What a douche.

Doubles has always been the worst to solo q into. Everyone needs to realise that when go into doubles alone you may get a .2 kd on your team and a team of two 2.5 kd players or you might get a 2.5 on your team and playing against 2 randoms who are a .2, no matter the skill of your team mate or your opponents dont be a dick to them and send hate mail. Everyone is trying to improve. But if you need a partner for doubles you can add me on psn:iamkidrobot i promise i will never tell you to leave so i can get a new partner

That happened to me a couple years ago when I played on PS4. Brand new to Destiny, unupgraded character, strangers rifle...etc you know the deal. Guy on my team messaged me telling me to leave and how bad I was, must've been my 2nd or 3rd crucible match ever. Matched him in trials 6 months later and waxed his whole team. Revenge can sometimes be sweet.
