New Monarchy Rerolling Sparrows?
So I was boosting my New Monarchy and I got a Regal Bearing, which I've had before this point. I was honestly kind of surprised and bewildered, then I got pissed because I'm not sure if it screwed me out of a legitimate reward or not (too caught up in the"wtf a reroll" awe + low inventory space.)
How are Sparrows rolled as a reward? Does it roll as a tertiary drop or can it drop in place of actual gear and weapons? Did the game screw me over or is this just a harmless bug, albeit an eyesore?
Edit: Sparrows don't replace Gear/Weapon drops, so at least this bug isn't malicious. Just a tiny bug.

The one thing I noticed with the sparrow drops is it only comes off the loot pool if you have it on the character i.e. Not dismantling it. That's the only example of cutting it from your potential drop list. I believe it's considered additional like the ships are.

Sparrow is a secondary reward together with the Ships, Emblems and Shaders. But unlike the rest you can get the sparrow multiple times. I've gotten the sparrows about 20 times now. It sucks and Bungie probably oversaw this minor detail.

Bump for info. I'm sick and tired of getting repeat drops that I already have. The game should recognize that I have the sparrow. Stop giving me the f****** Sparrow
