Imagine activating Ward of Dawn and running out of it, only to find the enemy has gotten inside of it and claimed it as their own.
While they taunt at you, you proceed to press L1+R1/LB+RB and watch as your bubble collapses into a singularity, killing all that were inside.
I would love to see this in Destiny 2.

Am I the only one who imagined a soap bubble screaming obscene remarks?
-
NO! I would end up dead, killed by the architects or misadventure.

6 RepliesBack in early stages of development, Ward of Dawn had a perk where it made it smaller but mobile and you could shoot out of it. Too op tho so it was scrapped.

3 RepliesOr, or, or. Check this out. A bubble that makes your enemy blinded if they try to take it. Then you can just run in from their side and get an easy kill. How awesome would that be????

There are many scenarios to you can use a bubble offensively effectively, all the while providing orbs for your buddies. Someone self revives, throw bubble on him and duke it out. Two players camping a rez, throw bubble on them and duke it out. 1v3? Throw bubble on a rez to bait the rush, lay enemy team out. Catch someone away from their team, pop bubble on them and melee, they will try run and you can 1 shot them.

Unrelated, but during VOG a team mate got pushed out of his bubble by a Minotaur a few times. After a while it became a joke. "Kill the minotaur!" "I can't he popped a bubble!"

5 RepliesPersonally, I think it would be great to have a bubble with some sort of offensive ability. Just make armor of light a constant perk while in the bubble, shift the other perks so you get them earlier and add a new one. If you add an offensive perk, you can always put it on a timer like other subclasses. Here's some I like. Glass House - allows you to shoot out of your bubble, but nobody can shoot in. It's on a timer comparable to other supers and produces no orbs when used. The void - You and your bubble are invisible to other players and is on a timer comparable to other supers. This one would just be so much fun. Imagine putting in a popular hallway. In coming players don't know it's there. As they run down the hall, into the bubble, they get surprised by a Titan in their face lol.

Bubbles r for dance parties, Everytime someone pops one they start dancing inside
-
Or... or.. hear me out.. a bubble wear there is no buffs but. But. The bubble is electrified. So if any bad guys come close to it. It shocks them.
-
Day 1 it would work. Day 2 no one would ever set foot inside of the bubble.
-
13 RepliesYou want an offensive bubble? Fart in the bathtub… 💩💦
-
this would be cool, and you could finally know for certain when your bubble is going to disappear, because i imagine it working like popping your bubble and then your super bar starts to slowly drain until it runs out or you use your super again to collapse the bubble.

3 RepliesEdited by lusciouscookies: 4/26/2017 10:46:56 AMI'm more disappointed an offensive bubble doesn't insult my opponents, as I dance in it.
HEY! Yeah, you! Pig boy! Where'd you get your shader? From the trash? No wait, that's where you live!
