I pre ordered Destiny 2, therefore according to the self proclaimed "gaming industry experts" on this forum I've killed the entire gaming industry by simple pre ordering one game. Ask the gaming industry killer anything

3 RepliesI know right. It's almost as if people can preorder games to 'support' a cause they 'like'? Sick of people on these forums treating their personal opinions as gospel

Edited by Madman_ddg: 4/5/2017 8:51:36 AMOnly thing i hate now a days is that pretty much every game that comes out need updates meaning that the game wasn't even done in the first place......

Edited by pixelmagic: 4/5/2017 9:23:22 AMI've never actually given a developer any of my money either. Pretty sure Game here in the U.K. don't just send my £XX straight to bungie via PayPal. They don't take any money until just before release either...when the game is already gold. I thought that Activision and Bungie signed a contract worth millions between them, which means the percentage they get from game sales will recoup and hopefully exceed what's already being spent as they go throughout the life of the contract. Must be wrong. This forum knows. Anyone got Bungies personal PayPal so I can throw money at my screen again?

I'll probably still pre-order, but as a general rule I won't pre-order until I've seen a good amount of gameplay, or I've played the beta. I'll only pre-order D2 if early access to the beta is 2+ days early access. If it's just 24 hours before everyone else, I'll wait.
-
5 RepliesI have as many issues with this game as the next guy but in all honesty the amount of hours I've sunk into it and enjoyed i have clearly gotten my moneys worth If i put anywhere near the same amount of time into D2 then again its money well spent. Again certainly worth the preorder
-
May I ask why its bad? I get locking out content but if you pay more you should get more, right? Like I get if they locked a whole dlc behind pre-orders but all d2 is a emote and a couple irl items
-
I've also pre ordered, it doesn't cost me a penny until 10 days before release, so if I don't like what I see up until then, then I will cancel, no problems, plus I get early access to the Beta. As far as i'm concerned it's a win win.

9 RepliesPre order crowd are a weird bunch. They pre order to support the game they love and by doing so they actively aid in damaging the product. In essence they're digging their own graves while smiling and throwing cash about.
-
1 ReplySimple rules I like to follow instead of just blanket labelling people morons etc... If it's a new IP, wait and see before preordering. Get as much info as possible. Make sure you play the beta if there is one. If it's a sequel or another game in an existing franchise/series, preorder if you enjoyed/loved the previous titles in said series. Outcome = Preordered destiny 2 digital deluxe version.

3 RepliesNobody said it was singlehanded. But if you contribute to the problem, then your hands are still dirty. Like voting for Trump. You're a part of the joke that has become the United Circus of America.

1 ReplyI have pre-ordered D2 and RDR2. F**k people who try to tell me how I should spend my money. Yeah I got burned by No Man's Sky, no biggie, nothings perfect. I pre-ordered Doom and Bloodbourne and they are f**king epic. And f**k the youtubers who pander to their subscribers by jumping on the don't pre order shit band wagon.

No I did it first!

16 RepliesEdited by xReggieJr: 4/5/2017 2:56:55 AMLook I don't mind people spending money how they want. Go crazy it doesn't bother me, but shoutout to the idiots who are preordering now without seeing a glimpse of gameplay. You guys do know you can still preorder after may 18th right? You guys are either really stupid, or have a lot of confidence in a company who flopped big time on destiny's initial release. But disregard me, I'll probably be labeled as a hater, or to quit trolling.

3 RepliesYou're only hurting yourself and others like you. Destiny, the collection, is available for £18.99 now yet the rise of iron expansion is £24.99 on its own. A fool and his money are easily parted.

You beast!! LOL. Actually, I don't have a problem with it. I got burned with Star Wars Battlefront, big time, but I scored a home run when I pre-ordered Uncharted 4. I probably WILL pre-order Destiny 2, because I trust this game. It's brought me a lot of fun.

You should be locked up in a max security penitentiary

See you in the Beta; going to be fun :)

Preorder Destiny 2 Now and get a Cayde-6 Figure, A Legendary Sword, and Early Beta Access. Other Preorder benefits will make themselves clear in year 2 of Destiny 2 when we rerelease everything you preordered with all the new content at a fraction of the price you paid whilst still making you pay more for the new content. We find that a dedicated "bleed em dry" strategy works best.
