I loved the old ME games, but this new ME Androgynous crap is do bad. Worst $60 I have spent in YEARS. Bad writing, bad character and animations, not fun combat, just horrible

16 RepliesEdited by l MC BENNETT l: 3/28/2017 1:05:48 PMI'm noticing a trend: People who haven't played the first 3 love Andromeda and say it isn't as bad as other people are saying it is. People who have played the first 3 and have high expectations for Andromeda are bashing it for obvious flaws. I've played the first 3 and I'll take other people's opinions more serious if they have as well.

I played the OT numerous times and i'm loving MEA. Yea, it has some issues but its not the worst game ever. A lot of things that are happening in the game I would imagine would happen if we actually tried to settle a different galaxy

3 RepliesEdited by Bake8935: 3/28/2017 5:32:29 PMMass Effect is my favorite franchise. ME2 is my favorite game of that entire generation, and in the top 2 of all time. ME1 is also one of my all time favorites. Probably somewhere between 5-10. ME3 is way better than people say. I never had a problem with the ending. Now that I got all of that out of the way... Andromeda is awesome. It has glaring technical flaws, but it's still my favorite game of 2016-2017. I haven't beaten it yet, so I can't really say that definitively, but I'm pretty sure that opinion will hold. I love the crew. Drack, Jaal, and Vetra in particular are on par or above the crew of previous games. I wish there were more, but the crew you have are all good. The combat is probably my favorite in the series. They've cleaned it up nicely. It's buttery smooth. Literally the only things holding it back from greatness are some bugs and the bad animations. The game clearly needed more time to get those things cleaned up.

That's unfortunate Has the classic cringe dialogue bioware always had. It's better than 3 though

Aside from the bugs, glitches and crashes I really enjoy this game. Don't regret the purchase whatsoever.
-
I really don't have any problems with it. It's still an enjoyable experience, which is good enough for me.

6 RepliesI don't understand how with all the technology these days a game can be released in mea's state lol. Its a fun game with a cool story but the animations my god. They don't even have them for entering exiting the nomad. You just poof in there.
-
3 RepliesNo offense, but we get it already. There are plenty of people around the internet bashing the game relentlessly as it is.
-
3 RepliesPersonally, I'm not buying the game (played the entire trilogy twice...going through it a third time) just because it dosen't...look like Mass Effect to me. It looks more Gears Of War with a Mass Effect paintjob rather than, say, ME1. Again, though, this is my opinion from what I saw gameplay wise.

Loved the old ones as wells. The 2nd was my favorite. But I'm enjoying this one. Nothing really broken for me so far. You are your own reviewer...nobody else should influence your decision based on THEIR likes/dislikes to yours

27 RepliesDid you even play the game? I bet you are just jumping on the hate train and not even giving the game a chance.

What is it about this one that put you off so much?

8 RepliesI just don't like how little tutorial there is and the crafting aspect blows

Odd I'm having like the direct opposite experience with this other than the animations

Long time fan of the series since I was 13, been enjoying this myself. Each their own
