Can't purchase Rise of Iron
So I've recently just returned to Destiny, and I was look at purchasing the Rise of Iron DLC. On the Xbox store it's only sold in a bundle so when I try to purchase it through the game it comes up with a message saying
"Query Failed
Could not establish connection to the Xbox Games Store. New silver purchase will update when you next sign in"
Signed in and out and restarted game and console ect ect. But nothing seems to be working. Does anyone know what the problem is or how I can fix it?

I bought Taken King today on the PS4. It took the money and says I have purchased it in my wallet. Then I tried to purchase Rise of Iron and it won't let me because it says I need to buy Taken King first. I phoned PSN helpline and after all the usual checks about licence & cache, they said I have to contact Activision. I contacted them and they said I have to contact Bungie. The only way to ask Bungie for help is on this forum to the best of my knowledge. I still can't get a response. I never thought it would be so difficult to give a company money for their product.

5 RepliesSadly it is only sold as a bundle. You will need to purchase the collection if you want RoI.

Go to the store and search for rise of iron, you have to get to it outside of the bundle. If you cant find it by searching, just go to the bundle and where it says "Items included in this bundle" or whatever you can pick "Rise of Iron", if you select that from the what's included list it should take you to the page for just Rise of Iron, then you should be able to purchase it. Hope this helps.

When you search for it on the store are you logged into the account that owns the taken king?
