Carry Over Emblems/Shaders to Destiny 2?
Hello everyone (and hopefully Bungie),
I was wondering after the announcement of gear and such not carrying over to Destiny 2 (which is fine), if emblems and shaders would carry over. After all, many of them were rewards for being a loyal Bungie supporter by playing previous games, being active in the community forums, being creative or being a loyal customer and buying from the Bungie Store during certain periods.
It would be nice to carry those things over as they don't change gameplay at all. It's just to show I was there for Destiny 1 and even prior and I continue to be a loyal fan and consumer. I understand leaving behind weapons, armor, subclasses etc. I too want to start fresh without the past getting in the way.
Well I want to hear what you guys think and hopefully get a response from Bungie.

I'm hoping that at least the emblems will be carried over. I may be reading too much into it, but with the limited edition pre-order, you get a Cabal Empire Themed emblem. And in the "Age of Triumph" book, everything you unlock as you level up with the book are just emblems. No shaders or anything else like in past books.

3 RepliesThings that don't affect any game play? No thanks. I run default emblem and no shaders for last 2 1/2 years anyway (except to complete faction exotic quests and when IB had buffs). No other function, no other care.

2 RepliesIt would be cool, but the problem could be that emblems/shaders won't exist in d2 as they do now. Beyond that though, I don't see another issue with it.
