Title. Don't bother posting if you just care about loot, this post doesn't matter to you. If you wanna farm lunas or whatever load up a 5 or 6 player team and go ham in rift, why the hell are you playing rumble for post game drops?
-
I don't think it's cool joining a game in progress, specially rumble because when everybody has super, you don't so I can't even play.

1 ReplyYou post too much. Stop asap.

It also shouldn't start matches or shut down matches if half of a team is missing like overwatch does kinda. Sure I'm ok playing rift or clash in a 3v4 or 4v5 where numbers are close enough but if you do that the higher skilled players should be even slightly stacked on the team with fewer teammates. It should on no circumstances start a match where it's a 3v6 in rift especially when match making takes forever and it's almost garenteed that 1 person on your team will be afk for a good min and a half

2 RepliesI don't play rumble and didn't know that joining in progress was a possibility. I can't think of anything Bungie has done that is dumber than this.
-
4 RepliesWho cares. Whaaaaaaaaaa! Join another match then scrub

11 RepliesRumble is the only game type that measures your true skill, anything else and you can get carried by your team, especially trials, so it's honestly the only playlist I give 1 shit about my Elo, so yes please stop dropping me into late matches bungo

5 RepliesI don't have problem

I was dropped into a game and I lost before I even spawned in. Thx bungo

3 RepliesEdited by Unicronic: 3/13/2017 9:49:22 AMHalf the number of activities you can choose from in a given week and you'll reduce the changes of this happening. There are too many activities to pick from and not enough players. Hopefully with the AoT update they'll reduce the number of crucible destination to a small amount. For example one 6 player, one 3 player, doubles and rumble. Just rotate daily between the 6 and 3 player modes. I know some people don't want to play some game types but pooling as many players together as possible is the best move right now.

Just change the threshold of how many points someone has before spawning me in progress. If someone is already at 800 don't put me in that match I'll spawn in when he has 1000 or more making it impossible for one to win that match unless you're the rumble king mtashed

They have no choice. Recent combinations of lower player numbers, stricter matchmaking criteria and 'skill' matching (😂😂) causes the game to drop you into matches near completion. After searching for about 20 minutes! Then there is the Architect BF which drops solo players into games where solos were matched against teams and some/most quit.

5 RepliesI hate joining when the enemy has their supers and LITERALLY 2 seconds in you get killed by super, after super...and then your team loses because when you joined the enemy team was 3000+ points ahead of yours :P

i keep revisiting this thread, searching for the complimentary "really? people are complaining about (x thing that seems to not matter but is actually pretty important i.e. skorris, in this case its matchmaking behaviour) now?" from a pve player. i haven't found it yet.
-
If people are like me they trust they individual skill much more than being in a team. Before I stopped caring it was the fame mode I kept a 2 kd in and win 9/10 matches. Being put in a game usually wasn't the problem, it was me not catching up fast enough. I've had a few times where I lost 2000 to 1800 but I only had 5-6 mins
-
There should never be join in progress for any mode but especially rumble.
-
1 ReplyHow about remove join-in-progress on all playlists. Also this is a lot based game, I can play however the fuq I want to!
-
4 RepliesI use to stay in those matches but now I just straight up leave. I also leave when it's purechill420 and his full team of sweaty tryhards in normal pubs. Matchmaking has made me so salty lol
-
3 RepliesPlayers should still be able to join matches that are in progress, but not if they are either half-way through or a team/player is half-way to winning. Lock that match out of matchmaking once it reaches a specific threshold. Players should be able to join matches in progress as it helps fill games and put players into activities faster.

If i had a 5 or 6 man I'd be going to a raid, not rift. As for the join in change im down for it, but it wouldn't happen.

Edited by zakkbailey: 3/12/2017 7:17:00 PMYou should post this in the feedback section or on reddit. It is wasted in #destiny and #competitive Bungie does not read these sections of the forums. I make the suggestion because your post is actually a very good idea. One that Bungie needs to see. I would hate for it to get buried.
