Any pro-tips to a Titanfall 2 newb?
Bought Titanfall 2 yesterday since it was on sale.
Campaign is great so far, but haven't touched multiplayer yet.
Any tips before I step in?

2 Replies1. Wall run, you can cross a map in no time flat 2. Steal enemy titans batteries, bait out their smoke then take the battery and help your teammates or boost your own Titan 3. Don't use tone, or I will join your game and use ions laser core to melt that shield then turn your Titan into a pile of scrap [spoiler]i hate tone...[/spoiler]

7 RepliesSave Credits so you can invest in relatively well-rounded guns. The G2 is great for long distance, LMG and Hemlock for mid and close. It also helps to experiment with the scopes. Don't worry about buying the executions as they are absurdly expensive and you can get one just by performing Pilot executions. I'd highly recommend getting the Extra Battery boost for your Titans. Your Titan upon its initial drop doesn't come with shielding so that boost will greatly enhance your survivability, especially if you use a Stryder chassis.

3 RepliesWatch some YouTube videos of the multiplayer. You'll learn a lot by just watching them and seeing the crazy unconventional play styles that are possible in Titanfall 2. My personal favorite is Iniquity. He's really good and fun to listen to.

1 ReplyPlay attrition. That way even if you aren't the greatest FPS player you can still contribute to your team. Find a weapon that fits your play style. If you like to be aggressive go with an SMG like alternator. Work on your movement. Watch game play from Gamesager, Iniquity Rhymes and FrothyOmen. Have fun, Titanfall 2 is one of the most chill multiplayer games

1 ReplyMastering the movement system will really help you in multiplayer. If the enemy can't hit you, you can't die. That being said, accuracy is important too since most game modes are fast paced. Hip firing is very good on many weapons, especially SMGs like the alternator.
