What Special Weapon Do You Miss Equipping Since Patch?
I understand any weapon can still be used but lets be real; the time, aggravation and hassle just isn't worth it only to keep losing your special ammo. What special do you miss equipping the most?
Mine is:
1. PLAN C
2. SALADINS VIGIL
3. WINTERS END
4. 1K STARE

Im not complaining but asking a light harded and realistic (for many) question. I always used my primary over everything else. But to the people commenting special is not a problem and is easy and spawns every 60 seconds etc...it is not nearly as simple as u make it out to be. Specials for me are or desperate measures, aggressive pushes and shutting down supers but when ur desperate like when a blade or hammer titan etc is coming full steam ahead u most of time have no special. Realistically when the avg person like me ques into 6's they are not dying 2-3 times per game...they are probably dying close to, equal to or more than they are killing. Just cuz it spawns every 60 seconds means nothing when the boxes have been picked up already or there's still 40 seconds to go or your being dominated by a team or being pushed by supers n heavy lmgs and so on.
Lets be real here having any special equipped that dont hold ammo or regenerate is unreliable simply because when u need your special the most you dont have ammo and not because u didnt try to get ammo but because you couldnt get ammo cuz of many reasons and circumstances. Also map layouts and pace of the game do not always allow for picking up special consistently. Dont get me wrong i love more primary play since change but i think with nerfs to shotties, jug, blink n quickdraw that was more than enough. But taking all special was too far.
I would 100% support ammo reduction on death but i wont support complete elimination of ammo. Besides a big chunk of fun was taken away and replaced with chores. I respect all opinions and not saying im right but just saying there are many factors that complicate this issue.

I use the same stuff, I used every except fusions, I have on person though.

Queen breakers bow and plan c. Plan c is pretty much useless because you have to reload it after picking up special and then stow it for 10 seconds to charge the perk

The shotgun was my crucible and game secondary since forever. They are not usable in the crucible not only due to the ammo levels which I wouldn't complain about but for the fact that it takes forever to load them after previous loading nerfs. Bungie has crippled their weapons to the point where the game is just trash. This isn't just secondary weapons it is in general across all weapons and subclasses. This game isn't a shell of what it was. They are ham handed and incompetent.

Special ammo spawns frequently. 9 times out of 10 when I re-spawn there is special ammo close at hand. It just took me a while to remember that I did not have special ammo on respawn. That "Oh shit" feeling you get, when you go to squeeze the trigger of your fusion, and see the green "No special ammo" mesg start flash. Then you actually say "Oh shit" right as the guardian that you thought you had the drop on, proceeds to melt your butter for you. After 3 or 4 times of that happening...I finally learned to check to be sure I have reserves

2 RepliesNone, u can still use whatever u want. Special ammo spawns every 60 seconds..! Why are people complaining so damn much, they didn't take away ur damn guns. '!!! Jesus , equip ur fusion rifle, use ur primary for 1 whole minute then go grab some ammo and get kills with ur special weapon..! Why is this so hard to grasp for everyone. Pvp is fine

As much as people are going to hate me. I miss my matador in game modes other than skirmish. I still dominate with it in times in skirmish but I miss having it for 1v3 situations or pushing the last guardian standing on the other team in trials.

1 ReplyI miss players killing me with a primary.... This running around the map with their wormwoods exposed is pathetic. It's not that I don't like sidearms. They're fine but that's all they use. I would rather get ohk by a shottie than this trash.....

put two back to back 37-4 games on small maps using HC and snipes like I have always done. (I still do very well running that loadout, been maintaining between 1.5 and 2.0 kd depending on 6v6 playlist) so I don't really miss anything in 6s.. trials though... lol alot more no Land than I usually run.
