I am unable to enter the game. I always see "Destiny servers are not available." right after I click A on the game's title screen. Other games are working for me, including multiplayer matches. The Xbox reports networking is working fine.
Edit: It seems this is an issue with the latest Xbox Insider Alpha Update. I expect it will be fixed in the next update soon.

Last twitter message a few hours ago from MS/Xbox @workwombatman stated the fix was being tested and likely will be pushed out to Alpha users tomorrow (Thursday).

Bungie recently tweeted that they are aware of an issue preventing Destiny players on the Xbox One's Insider Preview Alpha Update from signing into Destiny on Xbox One. Here ist the link to the tweet: https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/833216723121627136

"will be fixed in the next update soon" It is not soon enough, have not been able to play all weekend. Now it is Monday evening and still says "servers not available".

same as me it's not

3 RepliesI went looking further into the alpha issue. It affects more than just Destiny, seems to affect most (but not all) MP games. So given that, we should see a fix soon.
-
it's the alpha update for preview members that are affected by this
-
2 RepliesThis is only an issue for those using the original xbox One consoles Xbox one S consoles are unaffected. We do not have a fix for this issue currently and will update with an individual fix if one is discovered before the next update wave goes live. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This problem is now listed under "Report a Problem" on the XBox One Console. Make sure do the Report a Problem on the console, pick this issue from the list (probably showing at bottom of list) and it will give you the option to +1 it.
Still isn't working

7 RepliesHey if you're on the Alpha Preview Update on Xbox make sure you go post on the 1703 Update Preview Forums so this issue can get some visibility and hopefully get resolved soon. I've already posted there so feel free to comment on it as well.
-
3 RepliesUnplug the console from power for at least 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, plug it back in and try again.
-
I'm glad I am not the only one, I see many of us are Alpha Insiders also, everyone should get on reporting this
-
same here in Germany, not been able to log in since i have the latest Alpha-Preview :(

5 RepliesI haven't been able to sign into destiny either keeps saying destiny servers down after it says press A its been like this since yesterday and it really sucks well good luck guys hopefully bungie fixes this issue at some point because soon is out of the window already
-
4 RepliesAt 16 hours, soon is not a word I would choose. I've removed my console from preview. Never again. This is beyond ridiculous.
-
2 RepliesSame can't get on right now this is so stupid bungie please talk to Microsoft we've got shit to do!
-
Update: After reinstalling Destiny to see if it resolves this issue, I'm still getting Destiny servers are unavailable. Don't bother trying to uninstall/ reinstall. It doesn't work.
-
Found a workaround. It's not valid for most, I admit, but the purchase of a new console works a treat.
-
4 RepliesI'm seeing exactly the same thing. It was working fine last night, but for the past three hours I've been unable to log in despite multiple reboots. No error code, just the "Destiny servers are not available" message. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the game, but that didn't help. In case it helps track down the issue, I'm using Comcast in the Seattle area and my Xbox is running a preview OS build.
