Repost this after the patch has dropped and I feel like you will see different results. Most who disagree with the patch are the ones who are directly affected. Ie clever users, matador users, special warriors, etc. With special popping up every 60 seconds you will still use special often. This just promotes more primary play (which is what this game needed dearly). I do disagree with the bladedancer nerf and I don't even run that subclass. But there again I don't think the difference will break the class. Hand cannons should be more useful in there intended range when used properly now. Hrof pulses will still be good but also allow other archetypes to consistently compete with them. Shotguns will still be powerful with a little less mobility. I really don't see what all the fuss is about. I for one am excited about the patch. Who knows I may not like it myself but I urge you to try it out and make your judgment based on actual game play rather than the usual he said she said.

Good post no bias just an honest question for the players. This won't go well for Bungie. If it stays up long enough for long term response once play has had time to go on for a week or so it will likely even get worse. I don't and never have used my secondary as a primary but still have the good sense to know this nerf fest was a sad mess. It lowers the skill gap in the game yet again and weakens our guardians yet again. I would guess that exploits of the holes in the design will take it down within a month which is sad considering how long we waited before this what ever it is.

6 RepliesNot at all. They're ruining so much. They didn't make nearly enough buffs ... I'm looking at Titanfall now. Because I don't know how much more I can deal with this game. It's already pretty rough right now as it is. It's gonna be absolutely awful after this patch. Everything's gonna get a lot more bland... There'll likely be just a few different primaries that are superior, & that's what'll be used... And special ammo economy is stupid as shit...especially the fact they're hitting shotgun accuracy & handling, again ... it's ridiculous. Truly ridiculous. The most upsetting part? Voidwalker becomes the only truly [b]strong[/b] warlock subclass now. Rest in pepperonis.

1 buff and three nerfs. Every patch they nerf something for 100% no reason. In year two it was hawkmoon,fusion rifles,thorn,and lady word. All of those things kept getting nerfed even though nobody used them. This time they basically nerfed handcannons. They added extra accuracy to the first bullet. Just for that they nerfed the range again. Which gives it worse accuracy so they cancel out. They buffed auto rifles but destroyed high rate of fire pulse rifles. Alll they had to do was just reduce the range. Nah. They nerfed everything about. Another thing. This is the fourth special ammo nerf in the last year. Wtf. What did special ammo do to them. All we asked for was buff primary weapons. Screw that. Nerf 12 other things just because they can. My 12 year old brother can play better than this idiots. The people who made the freaking game tried to put on 2 exotics weapons at once,looked for his clever dragon in the special weapons slot,and another guy was trying to CLIMB A FREAKING TREE!! These are the people balancing the damn game.

Obviously not. Still too much special ammo and nothing specific was said about scout rifles (fixing an old bug and giving it the same air accuracy as any other primary is not specific).

1 ReplyI'm happy because the first curse is basically getting a buff at this point. It's perk when active maxes out the range regardless of initial stat so the range reduction means close to nothing and the initial accuracy is great because it won't miss shots it should hit and also bloom is pretty negligible because it fires slow and it's perks grant extra stability. Also I am happy for those hunters who hold some love for their ace of spades because it's stats should thrive in the new environment of handcannons because its stability is pretty good to start and it also has high calibers which will actually do something for handcannons so you knock people on their asses real hard. In short I am happy mostly about the handcannon changes because they sound great and I have a feeling they will feel great too.
