Edited by doublebbs9395: 2/9/2017 2:18:39 PMWhat reason do they have to nerf blink? It's just a jump that two subclasses in the game can use. It's not like it gives you much of an advantage over anyone
Also, RIP Bladedancers
8 RepliesHa!!! Hunters got nerfed, I love it, except they nerfed the wrong thing, should have nerfed shade step somehow.
-
1 ReplyI thought this game could not get any worse! I was wrong, doesnt matter, I will still play it, I will adapt, this will make the game very slow paced, especially trials, this will be very interesting to witness.
-
12 RepliesI personally am really stoked for this update, it's gonna be primary meta FINALLY! Hand cannons are gonna be 100 consistent, autos can actually be used now, my personal favorite change is the buff to my baby Nirwens Mercy (archetype)
-
From the above information I can only see one problem...the complete destruction of handcannon's wow bungie...really? So dumb. Might just move on to another time consuming game...ESO has been on my mind. But I'll just wait and see first. Thanks OP for the post!
-
I have stuck with this game from the beginning, and continued to do so after all my friends have left. This pathetic attempt to update the crucible may be where I draw the line. The player base is already shit, and this is the best they can come up with? I will wait until I play the update to pass my final judgement, but if this it then I can't take it anymore I'm out with the rest of them...
-
This update just has to get me to Feb 28. Horizon Zero Dawn hyyyype! But seriously, them nerfing bladedancer made me realize how clueless Bungie actually is. And I've been against complaining about bungie in the forums pretty strongly. I just can't hold it in this time.
-
3 RepliesThe Patch has decided for me... For Honor it is then!
-
4 RepliesStupid community and their moaning ruined the game. Happy now?!
-
So I guess Hand Cannons are the new Fusion Rifle.
-
2 RepliesLike a friend said to me yesterday, it's just a reshuffle to avoid things getting too boring and stale. It will have it's own meta and then in a few months they'll change it again. Nothing better or worse between the one we have now and this new one. It will be fun to be able to go through the vault testing weapons and see what works best now.
-
5 RepliesSo if you lose the first round in trials youre Basically f#cked or you have to switch to a sidearm.
-
Well, at least autos are powerful again.

3 RepliesEdited by JFKs F4DE: 2/9/2017 3:43:35 AMI've learned from this game and how it's been with bungie that the only thing that ruined it were the crybabies. I'll admit, I try to get the best meta weapons I can so I can try to compete in crucible, just go look at my titan and hunter if you want. But the main problem is that yr1 was mostly fine. Sure, the auto rifles had a little too much range for certain archetypes (regime), but instead of just decreasing the effective range by like 5-8% what they do? 12.5% nerf to not only range but also BASE DAMAGE. We can all get it was the crybabies saying that they got cross mapped by one but what really happened was their bad connection or it wasn't even remotely a cross map. Just trying to not make themselves look bad by saying their OP. I'll admit it, I was a crybaby in some metas, especially this one. However, I've come to learn that Bungie is the first to make a game like this: FPS, RPG, MMO. These types of games are really hard to balance perfectly when you're the first ones and there are tons of crybabies complaining about PvP aspects. Honestly, if you're that bad, just stay off of the competitive side of it please (trials of Osiris, sweaty crucible playing, trying to DDoS, etc) and stick to the PvE part, you've got strikes, bounties, raids, patrols, quests, all that stuff. In conclusion, we can't give bungie too much sh*t. They are the first to create a first person shooter that is also RPG & MMO. They also created this game to be a mostly PvE game, but got rushed like crap by Activison, you know, the guys who published IW and AW. The only reason why we have crybabies is cause they weren't quite good enough to compete that well in crucible, that's all. That's pretty much what I got to say. It just makes me disappointed seeing people fight over dumb crap like the metas, even though I will agree that HCR on fast archetypes are a little wacko. Lets just all remember we are playing a game that we are all involved in. If we try to share our ideas with bungie more reasonably and not fight or over exaggerate we can ourselves make this game better. We are one whole community. Let's just all remember that.

*sigh* dismantle expectations yessss?
-
I don't think that you should lose all special ammo on death. Especially as it may make Trials one-sided. If they really needed to adjust the special ammo economy, I think that they should've taken 1/4 of your special ammo away upon death. Unless you have under 1/4 of your maximum special ammon capacity. That way it reduces special ammo and makes people use it more carefully, but doesn't completely disregard it.
-
3 RepliesI'm properly in the minority here but I really like these changes. special ammo change will be fun to try out and will help promote primary gun fights as well as make fights for special ammo a lot more intense. snipers and shotguns will have their place as well as sidearms are gonna be awesome to use now ( time to go brush of the dust that's on vestian). trials will actually be fun and promote pushing your opponents. hunters change was a bit unnecessary but I can see why they did it to compensate for the special ammo changes. stormcaller sniping melee nerfed was needed as well as juggernaut nerf even know as a striker titan I never used it(SC all the way). this is gonna bring a fun change hopefully to the crucible and make it actually fun again. ( I wonder how much salt this post is gonna bring)

Edited by SolarEagle81: 2/9/2017 12:51:43 PMWell I'm playing bf1 for awhile now.
-
Edited by Doink Soulz: 2/9/2017 12:43:15 PMBungie doesn't know what the jell they're doing lol.
-
2 RepliesLol, I'm glad I left this game. Bungie will never ever get their shit together. The only thing that's keeping this game alive is PvP, but they're only making it worse every update patch. -blam!- off bungie.
-
5 RepliesEdited by CrucibleDude: 2/9/2017 12:09:26 PMI believe the best option was put everything as year 1 like all weapons pulses, hand cannons, auto rifles etc in their meta. So that every primary is viable to play and have fun...
-
And PVP cry babies win again!!!!! **Music starts and participation trophies rain from the sky**
-
2 RepliesIf they nerf my beautiful truth, I will kill someone

63 RepliesEdited by mus: 2/9/2017 4:03:09 AMSo juggernaut still tanks golden gun? Skips still track you around the map? Blink and arcbolts are still terrible? Swarm grenades are still terrible? Gunslinger nerfs weren't undone? High calibre rounds weren't removed? Ionic blink wasn't addressed? Sticky grenades? Sunsinger not buffed and reworked? Thermites not buffed? Snipers handling and zoom nerfs not undone? Fusion rifles don't get some kind of buff to make them more consistent? Shotgun pellets are now even more rng? Blade dancer nerfed once again making it now the most easy to shut down super? Edit: forgot to mention, most shotgun archetypes are still not viable. Low impact hand canons could use a base stability and handling buff, high impact hand canons can come with higher base range.

7 RepliesComing back from a long time away from destiny (with more then 1500 hours played), i can say this: Does bungie won't stop F****** theyr own game? The thing is going from bad to worst.
-
So in other words, they didn't keep their end of the promise and there are still more nerfs than buffs...and hooray on Blink getting nerfed again even though it's probably the least used movement option on the skill tree...Bravo Bungie!
