Destiny Account linking, NEED HELP FROM A BUNGIE SUPPORTER/WORKER!!!!!!!
Hello everyone,
so basically I wanted to get the "pathfinder sign" emblem on my playstation 4 account, because I already recieved the emblem on my xbox account, which I mad like 8 years ago. I logged into my playstation account and linked my xbox account, after that I went in to check the postmaster for the emblem, I didn't get it, so i went back and unlinked my xbox account. After i tried to logg into my xbox account and it took me to the account creation, I didn't know what to to and clicked continue. After that I realized that my forums account has been deleted and a new one was made, now I can't even put on the emblem on my xbox account, because it seems the system thinks the account was newly made, even though this account is like 8 years old and even my legacy stats on halo are displayed there.
I really need help here, as I want my progress back and my emblem on my xbox account.

4 RepliesEdited by ADragonWithin: 2/6/2017 9:58:47 PMLog into the original account using PSN and then reconnect your Xbox account to it, it should remove the xbox account from the 'new' account and connect it back to your actual original account. Following the flow of what you said BNet/Xbox = original BNet/Xbox+PS = Trying to link for emblem BNet/Xbox/PS = Original account + PS (didn't grant emblem) BNet/Xbox/PS - Xbox = Bnet/PS (still original) but you unlinked Xbox You logged in with Xbox account, which is not tied to an account, so it went to account creation, making a BNet second account tied to it, so now you should have 2 accounts BNet/Xbox (new account) and BNet/PS (original account) If you log in with your PS, you should log into the original account, then you should be able to link your Xbox back to it; this will orphan the new account (making it unable to be logged into) but your Xbox and PS will both then be linked to your original account (this should allow you access to your emblems again, since certain ones are tied to the BNet account and not directly to your XBL/PS account), unless a hiccup happens. If the emblems are unavailable to your Xbox profile after connecting back to your old account, then you're out of luck, part of this was caused by your own doing when you unlinked your Xbox account and then created a new BNet profile for it. The old emblems were already awarded to the accounts that were connected to your BNet profile, and a new account connected to it most likely won't receive the emblems because rewards aren't exactly retroactive, especially when they're sent by the system to the postmaster in-game, as that's something the system has to be set to do. When linking/unlinking accounts, make sure to follow Bungie's help article concerning doing such things to avoid as many hiccups as you can.
