Crota's End Question
Got the Husk of the Pit the other day and found the only way to get it to the exotic level is completing this raid for the hard level drop. I've watched a few Walkthroughs and was surprised to see that people can solo this raid. But I've been stuck on the second phase, can't seem to get the bridge done and get the sword at the same time. A friend said the raid was patched at rise of iron and now it can't be solo'd. Can anyone tell me if this is accurate? I don't want to keep trying if it can't be done.
Side note, I've never done this raid before so I'm not looking to cheese the thing, but willing to grind it if necessary.

It can still be solo'd by all three classes. They each have their pros and cons. I just solo'd it for fun a week or two ago with the warlock and have done it on all three classes about 50-60 times now. On the bridge, I usually get on the rock on the right side and aim just to the left of the bridge on the far side. I jump and glide, take two swings with the sword and immediately head to the left over to the rock ledge. From there, jump and use your sword to get you to the other side.

You can fly across still, just takes practice. Other than that Crota himself isn't that hard.

2 RepliesYou have to cheese it if you are solo the bridge requires atleast three guardians if you want to build it and cross with the sword. Its easier to kill the sword knight and use the sword to sword jump across

To be able to really do this raid super easy solo, you will need a hunter with don't touch me's and for the bridge part you will needs bones, the bridge is not patched, but must be hit at a angle on the first jump sword slash combo than turn as if the bridge was there and finish the second and third jump sword slash combo.

If you're on the xbone me and a couple of my friends would be down to help you. We have a lot of Crotas end experience, I personally had to run it over 100 times to get the crux and can use the sword on all three classes. Which of course back when we weren't overpowered guardians, was an accomplishment. Add me XPNSVEdonkySHOW

If you are on Xbox I would be more than happy to show you how to solo crota. If you check out my completions for crota you'll see I'm qualified to give you such advice. If your not on Xbox, I can stream on twitch so you can watch and ask questions in real time. But to answer your question, yes you can still solo it. There are several different methods for doing the bridge part and they all work as I've done them all. Good luck on your hunt for the crux!

Crota is very easy to solo even on hard. Look at YouTube for some strategies. Nothing has been patched as far as I know

2 RepliesNo it isn't patched. But saying you don't want to cheese a six man activity, while asking how to solo it, is a bit contradictory. Anyway - easiest way to get over the bridge is to get the sword and use that to swing/fly across. Not super hard, but it takes a bit of practice. Best thing to do, if you don't want to get a team, is just watch a video on it.
