10 RepliesNot trying to be a dick just saying it like it is but everyone in the military in the US volunteered for it, no one is forcing them to do it so you might as well make a post saying "doing stream for (insert any job)" because that's all it is at the end of the day people just doing there job.
-
152 RepliesI cant support killers.
-
How exactly is the military being supported by people watching your stream?
-
2 RepliesWhat charity are you running this through?
-
It's nice to see someone wanting to support the Military and the sacrifices they make every day. Unfortunately for you I don't support streamers. I don't support anything associated with social media for the purposes of gaining self attention. Same with some of the anti military posts below. They posted negative feedback to gain social media attention. If you want do something to support our Military then get out from behind the monitor and volunteer your support in the real world. Same to the anti military supporters. The amount of attention you get will not change the world. Debating this topic in social media will have no impact either. I love this country but The Untied States has a lot of growing up to do...

Not a goddamn chance

You are live streaming a game to support our military and your job in game is to defend Russia? Not sure you thought this one out
-
7 RepliesYou do realise that this game is played around the world? Some of the other countries may not be the biggest fans of your military.
-
1 ReplyJust stop with the stupid assed live streaming crap.

3 RepliesI'm a veteran, but shit like this is such a -blam!-in gimmick, scam, and spam. This is paramount to pan handling and I'm surprised Bungo allows this kind of spam on their forums; every day there's some streamer or wannabe posting about how they're doing so and so event for "charity" or some cause. You want to actually help? Turn your xbox off and go donate your time at the local VA or wounded warriors project. Go help at a soup kitchen. There is so much you can do that can help people but "streaming for charity" is a selfish act to make yourself feel good yet you really don't help anyone. Don't give me shit about "it's what I'm good at" because that's a -blam!-in load, anyone can go to a homeless shelter and peal potatoes, go to the VA and lend a hand, go to a local boys and girls club and tutor/mentor some kids. Get off your ass and do something that matters, then again things like this really are just scams.

6 RepliesOutstanding thread. I must concede, this is quite refreshing indeed. While we're bombarded with liberal fueled "surreptitious" Anti-American (Military) sentiment on a regular basis, disguised as "Democracy," you have stepped up to the plate, amidst this volatile environment. One can protest for change, that is the BEAUTY of this great Country, however I believe it absolutely sickening to see AMERICAN CITIZENS burn flags, toss them on the ground whilst spitting in disgust. Once again, I firmly believe in peaceful protest, but demonizing our Military is appalling. One is well within their respective rights to disagree with our Government, but the men and women that sign-up, do so as a "calling." They do not sign the dotted line, sacrificing SO much, to (and I quote) "kill people." They see their respective service as a duty to defend what THEY BELIEVE is a moral and just cause. Even if one doesn't agree with policy, the blame should not be placed on the shoulders of our troops. Oh how these individuals are quick to forget the aid The U.S. provides on a CONTINUAL basis to all foreign Countries in need of assistance, including an estimated $35 Billion dollars to over 140 Countries. The United States Military piggybacks these endeavors with hands-on disaster relief, food rationing, hospital and physicians aid, and the list continues. In rare cases, the average Serviceman will be called upon to engage in combat as the government sees fit. Does one not believe the threat from ISIS/ISIL relevant?!.. Blame your politicians, take to the streets, demand reform, but DO NOT place the blame on 'Joe Smith,' that joined up to serve a higher purpose, to defend what he holds dear, and to simply HONOR HIS DUTY, and follow the given orders of his superiors. I remember last year around Veteran's Day, I took black shoe polish and stenciled the message: "Thanks to all our Veterans!" on the rear bumper of my vehicle. I had just landed quite a lucrative job, and my boss saw my vehicle and demanded that I: "remove that garbage, or else." It was regretful to lose such an opportunity, however, strong in my convictions, there was NO choice to be made. I told him "politely" 'no,' (lol) and with that was subsequently "let go." It is truly a sad day in our Country's storied history, that 'Flag-Flying' is something that is now frowned upon, and furthermore "not welcome" in the public eye. Deplorable. I'm sure I will get a plethora of responses to my post, and your thread alike, no doubt, from teen to College level hipster know it all's, who have been groomed to move with the anti-establishment masses. Just as I am within my rights to post my respective beliefs, they too are entitled to peaceful discourse. That my friends, is the beauty of this Country. We can debate the issues ad nauseam, without having to agree with one another, but maintaining respect and dignity for our fellow compatriot. Cheers to you for your moral courage in something that will most assuredly draw a backlash of criticism. -Semper Fi

10 RepliesEdited by LiamCDM: 1/9/2017 10:44:18 PMTo everyone saying the military shouldn't be supported because "they kill people," blame your elected leaders for that, blame the hyper-partisan, establishment politicians and American imperialists, not the brave men and women that literally give up their lives to protect any remaining amount liberty and democracy left in this country.

Edited by ALM1GHTY PUN: 1/10/2017 4:20:04 PMIt's getting a little salty down there. Always support the troops. It's because of shitty ass attitudes like the ones being expressed down below that Vietnam veterans were treated like shit when they came home. If you weren't there then you can't speak on it, idk who you know. And if you do have that experience then this forum is not the place for decent and relative conversation.
put those shoes on before you cry about the dirt they leave behind
32 RepliesThe amount of hate here is literally starting to make me lose my faith in humanity a little the military is the reason you can even call yourself a free American and if you hate the military you might as well hate this country too and yourself while you're at it
-
Edited by DJOEL914: 1/10/2017 4:12:47 PMWell this post reminds me of other ones just a different topic. Well I like your intentions LordUsurper, but this is the the internet during the 21th century so you'll get hate and ridiculed for anything that might have offended someone no matter how small the offense. Ex. Spelling error, racist, feminist, subject, not including details, grammar, and etc. I support your cause, I hope you do well and good luck with the post.
-
1 Replyf the military.
-
People need to watch Eye in the Sky to see how mendacious our military are. I admire your post but unfortunately I won't be following the stream.
-
Love and respect to your entire family! Where is your brother being deployed? What branch are you looking at?

10 RepliesEdited by MrPoPo33: 1/10/2017 3:42:54 PMThoughts on this thread.. (disclaimer: will likely be highly offensive, reality can be some times) So this is what it's come to huh? "Follow me on my Facespace, snapogram, and instavine or you don't support the troops, smash that like button or this puppy will DIE" As far as the debate on supporting military I really don't know which side to take on this, frankly I don't give much a shit either way but I notice it keeps being said that without them we have no freedom and all our dicks would spontaneously fly off, which is completely farfetched because we have this little thing called bombs, if I'm the president and another world leader comes to me and says ya know what we're taking you over cause you don't have a military.. I'm gonna hover my finger over a button, stare him down and say.. oh yeah pussy? No man power needed for that, I'm sorry to say but the military doesn't protect us from as much as you think "The military kills people" in fairness there's some validity to this, these people do willingly sign up to kill whoever SOME PRICKS WHO DON'T GIVE A -blam!- tell them to kill, innocent or not, granted there are many regulations that they follow however not overly strictly, not in plain sight at least, there are definitely some shady behind the scenes orders that are given which morally.. the people carrying out the orders are equally responsible for as the ones giving them, you willingly pledged your alligence to carry out the agenda of corrupt people, maybe some went in with good intent, most went in for the money/benefits, I mean in reality for the most part who gives a shit about your country? What do you owe all these ass holes were surrounded by, people should not blindly stand by other people simply because of how they look or where they're from that's how we come up with IGNORANT assemblies such as BLM.. that being said if you signed up because you hate seeing harm done to ANY innocent lives and want to kill the shit out of the people who bring them harm.. I respect that And also FFS just because you don't condone the actions of our government and military doesn't mean you hate MURICA you chodes, that being said.. -blam!- America, I hold no love for that ass hole down the street from me, nor the ass holes running this country, -blam!- them all.. I'm not gonna ignorantly label them my brothers simply because we live in the same region, I don't know these mother-blam!-ers, and that ain't never done shit for me

At the end of the day guys, your damn country needs a military or you're going to get your rock stolen by some other country. You can sit safe at home and think everyone on the globe is a jolly good chap, but there's a bigger picture.
-
sigh. Every time I see a post like this I can expect the comments to be edgier than bismuth.
-
Edited by GeneJumper: 1/10/2017 2:21:34 PMYou did not specify which military, which flag, that's the sort of critical information you should include. Anyway, thanks to your family for their service, whatever country that might be
-
I'm gonna make this as short as possible. I'm anti war, but bot against the troops. One of my best friends who I've known for over 20 years is in the army and served 4 different tours in the Middle East. Not once did I wish ill will against him or anyone who has served for that matter. We are so quick to write a blank check to a department that can't even take care of the people that fought for them, gave limbs, lives and lost themselves. You should be upset that we spend billions of dollars designing new ways to kill other people, but won't spend the money to take care of the people who came home damaged. Blind patriotism, "America can do no wrong" is ridiculous.

I'm a vet and I am disgusted by this. Not once did you mention sick animals at all
-
13 RepliesSorry but the "Military" in any shape or form is not to be celebrated or supported 👎🏻

Edited by Lord Tizz: 1/10/2017 11:26:17 AMI haven't served, but my relatives have in WW1 so I'll definitely drop by the stream if the timezones co-operate!! Thanks to your family for serving!
