Lost Skeleton Keys
I'm submitting this to help Bungie narrow down the lost Siva key fragment issue (which I've also had) as this seems similar and may be related.
Yesterday, I was running the Nightfall on my warlock (not my first of the week). I already had 5 skeleton keys on the character. A skeleton key dropped on the ground. I hurried to open the chest but was not able to get back to pick up the key before the mission ended and I was sent to orbit. I noticed that the key did go to my postmaster but I did not retrieve it before signing off. Today, there was no key in the postmaster and my 4 others keys on my warlock are gone. Keys on other characters and in the vault remain.

I am posting here in case Google searchers wind up on this thread. I had the exact same thing happen last night as OP. Had 5 keys on me (had no idea that was the max, I wasn't making an effort to use them), and I earned another one at the end of a Siva Strike that I couldn't pick up. I decided go to bed and deal with the key that went to my vault tomorrow (today), and lo and behold, every single key I had is now gone (I had them all on my Warlock). Can't believe this hasn't been fixed.

I posted a similar help topic. Also lost , what I really think was 6 keys, even though I Read only 5 keys are allowed per character. I had the 5-6 keys, picked up another one, then next thing I know I only have one key.

1 ReplyNot sure what the exact cause is but.. 90% of the other people on the forums have a similar story of having 5 keys on hand and one or more keys in the postmaster and the next time they sign in they're gone. So moral of the story is stop hoarding skeleton keys, because I know bungie wont fix it in a timely manner.
