I never knew the Swiftriver had a 2nd version upgrade and a whole other quest chain until I saw people sayin how good it was, got mine upped just in time for the last 3 matches before reset. I'm impressed actually. Even got 2nd first and second match. Choked on the last. Effin Forklift.

19 RepliesI don't understand the logic behind making Sparrow Racing League a timed event. What does Bungie gain from taking matchmaking sparrow races away and making it private matches only...which guarantees that most people will never use that option. Just leave Sparrow Racing League active.

Sure has, I had a ton of fun. Got everything done pretty quick so I only run the original Sparrow afterwards. No side boost, no tricks, just a simple rocket under your keister haha. In all the races I did I only saw one other person showing the old girl some love, we got first and second and as soon as the race was over he/she parked right beside me. That's my highlight of The Dawning.

I actually really enjoyed SRL this time around. More rewarding, more maps, and I learned how to do well fairly quickly.

Well hopefully this adds more players into the crucible matchmaking pools cause when I wanted to play it was like the game was dead. Only try hards, waiting 10 minutes for an aids meta laggy lobby. Prolly will get worse in fact. What a terribly run business. There was still plenty of room to make money off destiny 1, it just required smart updates and content. Bungie failed to deliver. They just wanted quick cash grabs from everse and small events rather than long lasting content to keep people happy. Greed will be this games demise.

5 RepliesAnyone know if we can complete the SRL quest in private matches? Must have done 50 races and didn't win a single one so I gave up.. it's one of the last quests I have to finish in the game

1 ReplyThanks to moving home just before Christmas, my internet supplier messing up, and spending Christmas with a dying relative, i only managed a week of play. After waiting a whole year for it to return. So, yeah, i hope it comes back in rotation. I love the 2 new maps, and the new music

1 ReplyI had a ton of fun. For about 4 days. Then became so bored with it that I didn't touch it again. There's no way that they could make it permanent and keep enough people interested for matchmaking to work.

Agreed! Had a ton of fun. The new maps were challenging and the rewards were tops. If only it would stay in the matchmaking rotation... Thanks again, Bungie!
