Do/did you shoot on sight in GTA Online
I know that in the game people are naturally somewhat aggressive after being shell-shocked from griefers and trolls but I'm curious.
Personally i try not to but every now and then I do.
EDIT: [i]what is your preferred assault rifle? Mine is the Advanced Rifle [/i]

My policy is if we are doing a thing be at defcon 3, if they get close or are close to our path then its defcon 2 and prepare to deal with people, then if they are actively following us and/or in a weaponized vehicle or plane, they shoot on sight(defcon 1) It was funny though, we were taking a shipment out to sea near the air and a guy was trying to escape from people, unfortunately he had tried to attack us last time, so by time he was in the air two of my friends had already fired 2-3 homing rockets at him. Needless to say he turned around pretty quick.

I Prefer the Classic "Bait+Vehicle Mounted Weapon" I bait them into a Car Chase They Realise they cannot destroy My Truck as its a Karin Rebel (Just Like the Real-World Truck its Based off of, the Toyota Hilux) (Seriously, I Dropped it from a Cargobob at Maximum Height and all that Happened was the Bumper got Damaged Drive off Road and Up a Hill as the Karin Rebel Excels at it Laugh at their pathetic attemps to get to me Get on the Rear Mounted LMG Win

When I used to play, I always avoided other users. If they truly went for me, I made sure to get the advantage over them.

If it's a chill-looking player, then no. If I've seen that the person in front of me has killed a lot of people already in the kill feed, then yes.

1 ReplyI never play GTA alone. I had a small crew that I used to run with. We had a no kill policy. Unless someone attacked a crew member. Then we would all hunt them down until they ran to an apartment or just quit.

Friend has a 2.09 K/D and I have a 2.57. [spoiler]The Advanced Rifle has always been my favourite.[/spoiler]

8 RepliesThis is the reason I really don't like playing this game. Most of the time I go into closed sessions so I can do things in peace, unfortunately you end up being limited in the activities you can do, so I end up not playing the game at all. I wish Rockstar could do better at keeping the nonsense killing to a minimum. I really don't get how players enjoy killing each other over and over with no point to it and no winner?

I go around blocks too avoid people. If they persue I assume that they mean harm. Then I have to kill them.

No I just go into passive mode. Apparently that is the easiest way to piss people off.
