Banned From Crucible For No Reason?
I am completely confused as to why my account has been crucible banned. The message I received told me it was based off of connection but I rarely have any connection issues. The only thing I can think of is that I frequently game with a friend who has poor connection and it may be dragging mine down. I'm quite upset that I will be missing out on a week of dawning activities that I have been waiting for all year. Can someone please help me get this overturned? I have never abused connection issues to benefit or even had many, quite frankly.

8 RepliesDo you have Comcast and/or a Netduma router? Tracking quite a few of these through the forums and seeing a bunch with those 2 things specifically. Comcast seems to be weathering issues (Blizzard tweeted ISPs were being DDoSed yesterday).

11 RepliesThere is no disputing or overturning a restriction or ban. If you know you play with someone with a really bad or inconsistent connection, you can be viewed as benefitting from his lag if it is a more competitive game mode like trials or iron banner. Guilt by association is a thing in destiny, and you can get caught in the blowback. Especially if your friends connection can actually lag out other players from a match.
