I did. Some good quality of life changes coming to the game. Green engram pickups (once you hit lv40, auto dismantle into parts) rank two gunsmith weapons can be repurchased. Some other stuff included but what I mentioned is what I'm most excited about.
No incoming balance changes as of yet, but fingers crossed that we get one hopefully after this dawning event ends.

20 RepliesEdited by Fejster73: 12/10/2016 7:46:38 PMYep, even did my weekly "Buffing" of it for all. This week at Bungo we revealed The Yawning. Since our last trickle of weekly propaganda machine, we’ve said little about what is afoot in Destiny. As you know where that foot is firmly wedged! It was a great way to spend a weekend. We met thousands of awesome players and sent them roaring with laughter and disappointment about our two new measly racetracks. We showed you how the Guardians will celebrate a season of giving to us (Don’t forget to buy from Eververse!) and unhealthy SBMM. We breathed deep the magical air of fresh Benjamin’s. Sparrow Racing is making a comeback, under the direction of Luke (Throw money at the screen!) Smith. Strikes are about to become a sore event, presided over by Derek (Try a Strike) Carroll. Some of those scored Strikes have been redesigned to feature SBMM infestations. This event will bestow upon you few gifts. There are reskined gear sets, worthless Exotics Weapons, and an old favorite that we hope will break it off this winter. Those, as always are just a few of the rehashed seasonal updates you’ll find in the Tower. All of this is wrapped up and packaged in a new Record Book. Got Rise of Iron (You should you cheap SOB, what are you waiting for. Just throw your money at the screen!)? It will be waiting for you (Don’t forget to buy from Eververse!). Don’t got Rise of Iron(Again, you should you cheap SOB, what are you waiting for. Just throw your money at the screen!)? It’s not too late to join Lord Saladin on his adventure to avenge the Iron Lords. The games begin with Lag on December 13th. They end with SBMM on January 3rd. Let’s hobble toward the finish line of 2016 together, and welcome 2017 with some old stale ways to upgrade our characters. On Tuesday, it will be time to let it Rain, Benjamin’s (Don’t forget to buy from Eververse!) ! Hunt THIS The last time we turned the Crucible over to Amanda Holliday, our old friends at Rooster Teeth had a grand old time trading paint and talking trash, it’s not that hard to do, we are Bungo after all! Next week, we’ll put a Bounty on our own heads and invite them to come and claim it –they can of course, we suck at EVERYTHING we do. This is a race, but it’s also a lame. This is useless. This is a pathetic. Bungie Bounty Sparrow Racing League Rooster Teeth vs. Bungo Wednesday, December 14th 10AM Pacific Three of their racers will battle three of ours. The first Sparrow to cross the finish line first will be Rooster Teeth. You’ll be invited to watch on Twitch. There will be collisions. There will be blood. There of course be SBMM! If Rooster Teeth doesn’t like then they can play a Strike! Decorations Did we mention reskined gear for The Yawning? Bungo single Artist have been forging reskined armor behind the scenes to help you be frustrated this season. For the Titan set of armor, we relied on our new friends at High Moon Studios. Specifically, we have no clue as to what to do any more. We’ll be farming out a lot from here on in. Luke Smith has just run out of ideas! Titans will have Priscilla Landerer to credit for your new gear. Thanks for High Moon’s effort, we’re to busy to contribute while going to the bank with all of our bags of Benjamin’s. We’re looking forward to a bright future of further collaboration. And, we’re looking forward to seeing the rest of you in your rehashed Yawning armor. Passing Secret Notes in Class Like every deployment of minimal content, an update like The Yawning gets a number. This one is Update 2.5.0. It’s another step in the path of Devolution. When we update the game, your friendly neighborhood Community Manager works with the development intern to collect, collate, and post Lunch Menu’s that document all changes and new dish’s we try. Today, Cozmo wanted to share with you a preview of some of those bullet points. Cozmo: One of the things I love about my job is eating the biscuit for the team. It’s always a great moment when they can deliver a tasty pastry for me talking about. There will be plenty to read on Tuesday, but here are some things I’m excited to talk about right now. • Fixed an issue where some players did not receive the Student of History Trophy/Achievement or Sigil of the Young Wolf Emblem for attuning all of the Rise of Iron Artifacts • As always we do not learn from history, so we always repeat it! The completionist among you will be disappointed to hear that it took over TEN WEEKS to fix the issue keeping you from your final Trophy/Achievement in Rise of Iron. If you haven’t already attuned all of the ROI Artifacts, now is the perfect chance to go do it as you will also get the Sigil of the Young Wolf Emblem. About time, right! • Skeleton Keys have been adjusted: • Skeleton Keys drop rates have been slightly increased in the SIVA Crisis playlist, SIVA Crisis Heroic playlist, and weekly Nightfall by .00000004 percent! • Players will now receive a Skeleton Key for their first account Nightfall clear per week, even thou no one play’s Nightfall any more! Everyone has been on the hunt for Skeleton Keys to get their hands on that reskined Strike specific loot. We’re increasing your chances to see them drop and guaranteeing you .00000004 per account for your first Nightfall clear every week. • Characters who are level 40 will now automatically convert Uncommon Engrams(Green) to Weapon and Armor Materials on pickup • That’s right, only took TWO YEARS! If you haven’t already heard, we’re going to save you some time by automatically converting Uncommon Engrams to materials. Once you are level 40, you don’t have much use for Greens. We’re going to go ahead and dismantle them on pickup for you after you reach max level. • Brother Vance now offers materials exchange for Passage Coins and Motes of Light A lot of Guardians have found themselves short on Passage Coins when Trials of Osiris goes live. Brother Vance will now offer them in exchange for Motes of Light. • Legendary Weapons obtained from the Gunsmith's Rank 2 Quest can now be repurchased from the Gunsmith Bungo will now be very unpopular with Guardians who dismantled their Stillpiercer, Immobius, or Susanoo. You can repurchase these weapons from him for Legendary Marks (Don’t forget to buy from Eververse!) . This little bit and less will be available for download on Tuesday, December 13th, at 10AM Pacific. Once you’ve installed the Update, you’ll be cleared for landing in the Tower, where you can begin your experience with The Yawning (Don’t forget to buy from Eververse!). Guided Support As new content trickle’s from us to you, Destiny Player Support is always at the ignore your need and not answer the questions you may have. This is their report. Nightfall Activity Availability: Restricted Access on Tuesday, December 13th In preparation for The Yawning, Nightfall Activities will be unavailable to players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from 1:00 AM Pacific (9:00 UTC) through the release of Destiny Update 2.5.0 on Dec. 13th, 2016. This restriction has been put in place to prevent players from entering a state where changes to Skeleton Key Rewards introduced in Update 2.5.0 would not be available until the following Weekly Reset. Again, no one cares because no one plays Nightfall! Attempting to launch a Nightfall Activity will result in Error Code: Honeydew. Destiny Player Support will be posting reminders through @BungieHelp throughout the January, with an additional in-game message to communicate this information. Players will regain access immediately after logging into Destiny after accepting Update 2.5.0. But only if they throw money at there screen! Destiny: Rise of Iron Known Issues • ALL OF IT! We are continuing to ignore these issues, and are looking into options to address them latter when no one cares about them any more. If you are encountering either of these issues, please post a snaky topic on the forum. With Finesse and Speed With the upcoming return of SRL, the “With Finesse and Speed” Quest must be completed by eligible PlayStation 4 players prior to accepting Update 2.5.0 to earn the EV-42 NIGHTSTEED Sparrow. If this Quest is not completed by this time, it will be automatically removed from the Progress tab of the Character Inventory. Again, no one cares! Stay tuned to help.bungie.net for all useless articles related to the Yawning, and the return of SRL. Center of the Maze When he’s not gathering up Patch Notes, your Community Manager is watching a lot of videos of biscuit’s. There’s nothing left to say before this next event dawns. It’s small and insignificant! If we saw you at PSX, thanks for throwing money at the screen (Don’t forget to buy from Eververse!). It was great to hear your anger and hate for us. Let's do it again next week. As always, David Dague:
Frank O'Connor sends his regards. Your Move...
Brought to you from the letter: Y

Edited by Southern4x4: 12/9/2016 9:41:47 PMI stopped reading them after the infamous "match making" update. There was enough BS in that update to last a life time.

1 ReplyWhat's bungie doing....... actually listening to its community and implementing changes to improve its game. This is madness. And not a nerf in sight.
-
nothing i care about besides green engram dismantles
-
10 RepliesThe sbmm changes are all I care about.
-
Yep. Some positive changes.
-
Yep. I can't wait until this update come out. I can finally try out SRL for the first time, and Nova Mortis seems cool. Also Ice Breaker. Not to mention some cool looking new armor.
-
Balance changed are coming this quarter so most likely we'll get a post detailing them before the 13th.

11 RepliesThis is Bungie Bungie: So what we did is reskin a gun for you that you already had and then we copy pasta'd a gun into 2 new elements, YAY right? No no, it gets better. We reskinned some strikes and added gold stars and pats on the back! And to top it all off we raised skeleton key drops from 1% to TWO PERCENT!!! Playerbase: Damn, this Koolaid is gooooooooooooood!!!!!!

27 RepliesWeapon and class tuning better be good. Many changes needed. To list some -Gunslinger (knife and nades) -Bladedancer (arcbolt and blink) -Sunsinger (rework to make it more supportish) -Hand canon hit registration returned to 100% at all ranges but steeper damage drop off to compensate and enforce its short range roll - autorifle precision multiplier increased on high and medium impact autorifles (22 head for Monte Carlo archetype, 27 for the suros régime archetype) -pulse rifle damage increased on high and medium impact pulses (nirwens archetype 32/ messenger 36) -scout rifles deal increased flinch and take less flinch when being shot. -ambush scope returned to 4.5x zoom, all snipers handling nerfs undone -heavy ammo removed from free for all and 3v3 -shotguns have increased handling speed to incentivize switching weapons more -fusion rifles now get no horizontal recoil only up and down -akimbo sidearms are a thing now, steeper range drop off when hip firing.
-
I can finally get my shotgun back.
-
2 RepliesI'm glad they're fixing the student of history trophy glitch. One major concern of mine is what they're doing to fix the SIVA clusters glitch. I hate the fact that only my hunter has accurate grimoire and it honestly bothers me every time I log on.
-
4 RepliesGunsmith rank 2 weapons can be re-purchased. Finally I can ditch them!
-
Friday nights was sports machine .... I think TWIB ( this week in baseball) was Saturday mornings. Always take your TWIB notes!
-
2 RepliesEven when bungie does something right it takes them a year.
-
2 RepliesI dismantled my Susanoo without ever using it. Been wanting it back ever since. Although I guess I can't hoard my green engrams anymore.
-
Sparrow to Aksis vid was impressive! Hope I don't end up racing that guy in SRL
-
I was a total dipshit and accidentally dismantled my stillpiercer back in TTK. I am so glad that I can get it back again.

3 RepliesTWIB? What's a TWIB?
