Best faction ranking up
Based on cos gaming farming video for farming strange coins. I've learned from doing math that you should always buy
weapon and armor parts because every 25 give 50 rep. That's only 1250 glimmer
avoid heavy synthesis they give 25 rep for 950 glimmer. So don't buy them.
1250 weapon parts are needed for a rank.
Costs 62500 glimmer
100 heavy synthesis are needed for a rank
Costs 95000 glimmer
So if you want strange coins and faction packages follow cos gaming's video.
Edit: I know you can buy heavy from xur but I'm farming coins and faction packages so me buying heavy synthesis from xur deceases my coin amount by 34 coins.

6 RepliesWho even cares about ranking up those 3 factions anymore? Nothing they reward for leveling up is worth a damn. Only factions worth leveling up would be Vanguard and Crucible for Plaindromes, LDRs, event Horizons etc

1 ReplyDude, a little more than 30 strange coins worth of heavy give you one rank up. This is real easy. I always have around 1000 strange coins.

1 ReplyFactions become kind of irrelevant after rank 25 and past light 400. Before 400, I had like 20 strange coins. Now I have 600 strange coins and 200 heavy synths.

1 ReplyHeavy Ammo can also be brought from Variks for 250 glimmer and 1 Ether Seed, so that's good if you have a lot of Ether Seeds. 25000 glimmer and 100 Ether Seeds = 1 rank (Also buying heavy ammo from Xur is probably best, but I assume this is about leveling without strange coins)

1 ReplyThe best by far is using Xur. He sells three heavy synths for one strange coin. And if you have an exotic class item from whatever faction your donating to it will go up faster. If not Xur then Variks at the reef sells heavy synths for one ether seed and 250 glimmer. Lastly you could trade your black wax idols to Eris for the synths. Other than that the synths are way too expensive.
