Edit: turns out the time to regenerate ammo has been reduced to 6 from 8 seconds.

That said, I'd rather see new weapons that wreck than refurbished old weapons. The game gets stale enough with the grind, but for me, using the same weapons forever is boring. However, since we are getting it back, it might as well be unnerfed.

It wouldn't matter to me either way as far as my use of it goes. Though I think what they were going for is fine as a low effort attempt at refining its purpose. Personally I think they should refund the charge if it's a precision hit, and if it becomes a problem give it an overheat mechanic to keep its DPS in check.

3 RepliesI think it's fine in pvp as ammo is plentiful with the addition of ammo crates and enemies dropping ammo frequently. Most snipers are used fighting from a distance and camping during some bosses. Pvp needs a change though, make it to where you need to pick up ammo to activate its perk or something

People are honestly going to be using Ice Breaker? I mean I see if you're going to use it for PvP but I'm not wasting my exotic slot in PvE for the IceBreaker. Gun is outclassed by plenty of other guns.

No. Crucible and Trials will already be filled with these. Don't need the ammo respawn timer to be shortened

It's just two seconds added to the ammo regeneration. I was mad about it at first, but now I just don't care. There are more important things to be worried about.

They should also increase the damage on the LDR/Longbow for PvE.

As someone who has used icebreaker a TON...if they actually did bring it down to 6 seconds then it's fine.
