Trials BS
Man, I'm so fed up with this crap. 45 min on LFG and can't find a team on xbone! I'm a year one player and I've never been flawless and never seen the lighthouse. I've never played with anyone that's been flawless. No team that's good will pick me up because my stats suck. Why??? Because I only get invites from people that aren't good at pvp and just want to do bounties. I'm actually a good pvp player. I regularly beat players that have all the Trials gear and scarab but every week I get on teams where I have more kills and revives than my team mates. This is where Trials is flawed. Just because you have positive kd, elo crap, flawless and scarab doesn't make you a good player and shouldn't be a requirement to get on a team. I know I'm better than some of those players yet I'm banned from ever going to the light house because of this. Pretty crappy Bungie that I'm blocked from my favorite content.

3 RepliesYa I don't get it. My friend who has a 1.0 kd played trials yesterday with 2 newbies who had never played trials in their life. They were getting matched against the shittiest teams. He was destroying. Well then I came on, also a 1.0 kd, the games completely switched and we were playing streamers and 1.7 kd players. I had to read directly from bungies weekly update to show my friend sbmm is not any part of trials. But I'm starting to think it might be a lie. And I'm not amazing.

You need to get to 400 Light. People with less than 400 just dont give off that good player vibe in trials. You need to use a snazzy emblem not iron banner ones You need to get rid of that NL Shadow Scout. Its fun in PVE but its trash in PVP. You need to use a pulse Lastly, use Striker not Sunbreaker. Use Juggernaut, lightning grenades, air evade etc The two top ones might sound funny but 9/10 people below 400 light who use emblems like Iron banner emblems just arent good at trials so if you want to LOOK good then change those things. Go buy some hipster emblem from Eva. 400 LL by now shouldnt even be hard

6 RepliesYou are literally 6000 deaths negative in the crucible......yes you may have done better than someone with scarab. They could have had a bad game in a 6 v 6 playlist where theyre getting shot from multiple angles and you felt amazing (delusions of grandeur). They could have been carried who knows. Your stats are equal or worse than people who get carried. The saying "every garbage can gets a steak every once in a while" comes to mind with your post........ #clownshoes

8 RepliesUhhh actually having a high KD and Elo is a decent indicator of skill, which in turn makes you a good player. If your KD/Elo is lower than mine, there's a high probability that I will be better than you.

I play with kids that are .4, .5 k/d all the time and my stats are still above 1.0 so that's an excuse.

Just because someone has flawless gear or new scarab emblem does NOT mean they're good, carries are a thing. I've played a total of 20+ games post flawless card to get the emblem and still haven't gotten yet my friend who barely has a 1.0 kd got it his third game. In no way will I ever be scared of flawless emblem or armour

Same boat. Something else I noticed, I play much better when I play with crap players like me. I play with friends who are good and I am too slow, too cautious and I just get more and more stressed trying to keep up, trying not to let them down. Actually getting on a good team can be the start of your problems, you don't play with them often enough to play as a team and you are in my experience desperately trying to catch up!

Create a new character and have a good friend play on the account so you are hella boosted and then play with a stacked team

Nothing is blocking you from flawless besides yourself. Wether it be you not playing well, or not being able to find a solid team. Don't take it the wrong way, but I have friends that have below average k.ds and manage to flawless just because their teamwork is 100% on point. Yeah they have their games where they get sht on, but that's the nature of fps in multiplayer. All I can say is, keep trying & best of luck.

I didn't know you needed to win or have a good team in trials to have a positive kd? Your overall crucible kd is negative. Your not qualified to say trials is flawed. I'm only been flawless once, average .8-1.0 kd, <1300 Elo and I still manage to consistently go 7-8 wins with fellow LFGers.
