(raids) exotic heavy meta
I know it's mostly intentional since they are kinda hard to get but series since VOG and crota exotic heavy weapons (gjallihorn) were the only viable exotics in raids. I love the gjallihorn and sleeper stimulant but I wish you could use exotic primaries or secondaries without being considered useless. Bungie might as well remove the khostov quest as well as all other exotic primaries because they have no use other then patrolling. I know most of them are stronger in crucible or are just used for fun but the gjallihorn is useful and fun. Why can't exotic primaries also be useful and fun. This is also off topic but please make vex mythoclast able to be ascended it was so much fun as a exotic

6 RepliesYou don't have to use either of them in the raid. There are more than a few guns that can out-DPS the Gjallarhorn and a few than can out-DPS the Sleeper too. Chaos Dogma has the potential to do crazy damage if you can hit the headshots, and Outbreak Prime can hit hard too (and those are just primaries). Black Spindle can still get the job done, and so can a good number of legendary snipers. Don't feel limited by your weapon choices. Just find what you can use to do major damage and screw what anyone else thinks.

I didn't get Gjallarhorn until HOW, so I used truth and hunger of Crota for that raid without issue. It was all about tracking rockets.
